facebook like services - can they be targeted?

my friend has a facebook page for his clothing line website. it currently has 100-200 users, and i want to surprise him buy implementing one of those fiverr "get 1600 fb likes" offers. but would any of that be even worth it? the 100-200 likes he has are from people interested in his type of stuff (spiritual clothing, incense)... so would an extra 1600 random pool of people likes be of any value? Is there any way to target who those likes are in the context of a fiverr offer? (Similar people of those already liking it, keywords in interests on profiles, etc.?)

    You can find targeted facebook likes but there are few on Fiverr. How about trying a tweet to the page instead. A lot of fiverr gigs offer tweets for women. It might be more beneficial to his facebook page.

      Yeah, I can't find anything too targeted for him.

      Here's a question, let's just say I went with "+1600 FB likes"

      Would his reaction be "shit, now my fan-based is diluted with random people"
      OR
      "Nice!! Thanks bro"

      I'm trying to give my friend and brother a nice surprise, but I also want to do it no just for an ego reaction on my part but see that it's actually good for his page.

    I would caution against doing this especially since it is for a page that is not yours. The likes that are sold online are generally from fake or otherwise non-beneficial accounts. In theory, yes your friend’s page would appear to be more popular however having likes is only a means to an end which is converting those fans to paying customers. If you really want to surprise your friend, give them a new strategy for gaining legitimate likes on their page.
