Hello,
for the people that work full time online, how did you get there? And do you have any tips on becoming full time?

By staying focused on one project at a time and perfecting that project so that it earns me money constantly. I went from working at Mc Donald's to owning a number of businesses.

It also takes time and determination as well as support from friends & family. Keep moving forward -- I always say.

    Good luck!

By working very hard and having quite a bit of good luck as well, by struggling to learn as quickly as I could to distinguish between information and misinformation, by trying to develop the judgment to determine whose advice looked good to follow and who was just repeating nonsense, and by having at the time low outgoings and not needing to "get rich quickly".

I think that when you want to make a living from something, it's essential to take your advice from people who are actually making a living the same way. I don't pretend that it's always easy to tell who really is - that alone requires some judgment, and when you're starting off and most need it, that tends to be the time that you have least of it.

Nobody was born knowing how to do internet marketing successfully. Everything has a learning-curve. But I think that "correctly deciding whose information and advice to trust" is a huge component in enabling yourself to earn a full-time living from it within a reasonable timeframe.

    hi vivo,

Hard work is only part of it. You have to have a gameplan written down. If you don't know where you're "final destination" (wow did that franchise get milked) is, then you will of course never get there.

Goal setting should be accompanied by actionable daily tasks as well. Once you have your goal and daily plan to get there, the stress is gone and it's just about following a blue print. Best of luck

    I would say...

Make sure that you are the kind of person who doesn't procrastinate and keep putting off the things that you know you should be doing.

Make sure that you are the kind of person who isn't easily distracted by sites like facebook, twitter, youtube, and other "fun" sites

And you do not want to be the kind of person who jumps from one strategy to another strategy to another chasing that magic bullet.

Also, I would make sure that I have just as much income coming in from my Internet Marketing efforts as your job before you move to full time.

A lot of poeple want to go full time into IM but they aren't even making enough to cover their rent or mortgage, more or less food and other expenses. This is not a good thing.

So make sure that the money you are generating from your IM efforts can and will pay for any and all bills and essential expenses.

I wouold also recommend having 3-6 months worth of living expenses in an emergency fund.

but I think if you are making as much as your job from IM then you can move forward and then start your building up an emergency fund as you go full time into IM.

Took me a minute, with some paid advertising and free marketing. Focus on driving lots of targeted traffic to your site, and dont get stuck on 1 marketing strategy. You have to be diverse.

I suggest first beginning by dipping yours toes into the network marketing water first so to speak...test, evaluate, and then test some more.

If you can find a way to make $500 a month ten there is a good chance you can quadruple your efforts to earn 5 times as much.

you are going to have to focus on the basics of business that have been around for centuries and not get sucked into a lot of this marketing/get rich fast stuff that is everywhere here. Concentrate on providing a real service that others that is needed and doing that well. Sounds easy but so many people just don't get it. Work hard each day and keep that in mind always and you will already be miles ahead of other entrepreneur wannabes.
