help with wordpress optin box

hey everyone

i am building my own blog right now

and i want a plugin that can make some cool looking optin forms

i am not looking for fancy popup or something i just want some good looking basic optin to embed on my posts

  • Does your autoresponder have anything that you can use? I just use the form that I made on my autoresponder and set it as a widget. Is that the type of thing you're looking for?

    but what i want is something like the one you see on squeeze page type
  • I'd seriously consider Optimizepress or something similar.
  • I am using a free lightbox popup plugin, and it is great, you can check the effect here .

    You can add form codes of auto responder easily, and it doesn't matter what auto responder you use.

  • Give an example of the type of opt in forms you are trying to make. You can do a lot with your autoresponder options.
  • If your autoresponder is aweber, there are some really cool opt in forms you could think about using. They can edited to suite your requirements plus easy to install to your wordpress site.

  • If you use Aweber, you can customize your opt-in form nicely. No plugins needed.

    • Yes and No. One of the most maddening things about the aWeber Form deigner (and GetReponse's as well, for some reason) is that the fields need to be lined up vertically and not horizontally.

      I don't understand this limitation and I certainly don't get why it is the same with GR. That is what drove me to check out OptinSkin.

  • In addition to the sidebar, I also want to have optins at the end of blog posts. If teh reader found the post interesting enough to read through the end, he/she will be more inclined to opt in.

    • I'm with you - I just installed OptinSkin on my site! I was replying to Confined to Life as to why I wanted vertically aligned fields (that's what pushed me to OptinSkin)
