My first $50 day!

INTERNET MARKETING

I had my first $50 day and it was a complete accident!

I have been releasing basic web design courses for a while, teaching the core of HTML+CSS and teaching the updated HTML5+CSS3

I was not expecting any sales for at least 2 months but I woke up with 2 emails and 2 happy customers. It really gave me a kick up the arse.

Shame that the 50 bucks has nothing to do with IM... but we will be there soon, making that first $ sure does feel good!

When did you make your first $, how long did it take you and what feeling did you have seeing actual cash coming in

EDIT - While writing this, I got my first awebber opt in too! all be it for my blog, but a subscriber non the less

  Now though i am actively blogging and ranking on google with great results and promoting squeeze pages.

Congratz! Make that prime subscriber feel like you have their back every step of the way. When you gradually build that list focus on asking them what they want to learn from you and you will be on a role.

Thanks everyone, this is just what I needed to give me that extra boost. Feeling much more confident now. I always think big, but having proof to back yourself up is awesome!

You gave me a pretty good idea actually. I think I could give some good feedback to others just starting out, documenting my progress will surely help with that after 90 days

Currently working on 2 more courses so I can scale... if all goes according to plan, that's $150 a day

Im just going to make 4/5 long courses then its income on autopilot. I don't plan on teaching much more. Mainly because im not at the level to teach anything higher. Good to know someone has been doing it for so long though!

Im just going to make 4/5 long courses then its income on autopilot. I don't plan on teaching much more. Mainly because im not at the level to teach anything higher. Good to know someone has been doing it for so long though!

I still remember it 2 years ago.

Well it's a great feeling. Although it was really bad that it was $100 into my Clickbank account, which took quite some time before I could get the check and then cash in the check. But yeah still cash is cash.

  I always try and break down to see how easy it is to make large amounts of money. $50 per day across 10 sites = 15k per month. That thought did not even cross my mind.. WOW is all I can say.

Haha - it took me over 2 YEARS before seeing my first commission since I was unskilled, didn't know what I was doing in IM, and created a Clickbank course without even realizing the product I created was in a saturated market. Kinda crazy huh? lol

I'm glad to see you've done it much quicker - the first one is the sweetest of them all. I still recall the day when I made my first sale (it was an affiliate sale for a really great product), it was a day that I got not just one sale, but two sales from the same email I sent to my list. I seemed to really get some traction by building that list from JV Giveaways.

As far as the feeling - it was surreal! I still remember it like time stopped for a moment after all that time lol

It was definitely a boost, and at that point I realized it really is possible to make money online.
