Any Warriors Not In The IM Niche?

Hi all, i realise that almost all the members here are directly or indirectly involved in the IM niche. Which makes me wonder..are there any warriors outside of the IM niche? If so, which niche has been the winner for you? Appreciate your replies.

I won't tell you what niches we are involved in, but....

Don and I are in at last count 4 other niches with our own products. While you certainly can make a lot of money in the "IM Niche" alone, there is more money to be made in other places.

As rabid as people are to get their hands on products that will make them money, people in other niches with problems are just as willing and in some cases more willing to spend money because they are not so "jaded"

Well I do have an IM blog but I don't have a list so I don't consider myself to be in the IM niche - my blog is more of a hobby than anything else at the moment. My main niches are health, beauty and weight loss (but with lots of different sub niches e.g. acne, yeast infections etc.).

My involvement in the IM niche came very late in my marketing journey. The other niches I am in are much more profitable and much more fun ...

I'm not in the habit of sharing them on public forums though, call me crazy

    Hi hidman,

My personal view is that there are way to many other niche markets full of buyers ready to hand over their cash for useful products and services. I also believe, and yes, this is somewhat controversial, that people who rely on promoting "make money online" products and have only ever done so, are somewhat unethical, unless of course, like many of the experts here on the Warrior forum, they have been successful in Internet marketing in non "Make money online" niches, and can therefore teach and promotote products based on their personal experience and success.

People selling how to make money guides to make money selling how to make money guides to newbies is creating an IM bubble, when it bursts, I will be loving all my Micro Niche markets and quite pleased not to be solely in the IM niche. Don't get me wrong, but I do feel strongly about this. Personally I don't want to be sold information on how to make money online by someone who has only ever made money selling how to make money online products

Please feel free to check out some of my videos around how I manage my 280 website stron niche market empire, none of which have anything to do with making money online (my Target niche markets that is).

Number 1 Ranking on Google Now to make even more money. Full Niche Details Revealed Part 2
Ninja Reveals $36000 Secret Keyword System: Part 1

Please don't see this as blatent self promotion, I am not trying to sell anyone anything, I am on a mission to give back to the IM community and teach people how to be successful in non "make money online" niche markets.

I have and continue to make a very good living running many successful niche market websites, it is possible, I know.

    Cheers

Nice little blog you have going there - Just watched some of the videos and like the fact that you provide examples of some of your non-IM niches.

Fact is, there are so many different niches outside of IM that make money and there is plenty for all of us to participate in.

Thanks Tim, yeah, I rank well, have loads of sites, and make good money, I'm confident that my rankings are strong and will stay that way so don't feel any need to be secretive or threatened by other marketers. If I do start getting bumped by another Marketer in one of the Niche markets I share, well, firstly, I won't go down without a fight, and secondly, If I can't win, I'd rather put my effort into a new niche that I can dominate.

I think a lot of us make the majority of our money from other niches rather than selling primarily to each other. I hope so anyway - there are only so many people you can cram into the same space before it starts to stink a bit.

I think you'll be waiting a long time for people to share the winners though.

One of my biggest winners was/is "video games"

The best part....I don't play video games But, I sure can sell the hell out of them

Well, I did play Guitar Hero Christmas morning until I'm pretty sure I gave myself arthritis in my wrist and fingers, but that doesn't count.

LOL. That made me think of a couple of articles I wrote for someone a while back on replacing a roof. I researched the hell out of that one because I had no experience of roofing whatsoever, and as a result could probably replace my own roof now if I had to. It's not something I can see happening though. Ever

There's a niche for you, hidman. Even if it doesn't prove to be a winner, you'll at least have a (theoretical!) skill at the end of it all

Ok brother............I'll release a niche category outside of IM that is loaded with subcategories that are big money makers.

From a content writer's point of view, I think dating and relationships, health ( plenty of sub categories in that), pets are some of the ever green niches. 45% of the orders I get revolve around those niches. Currently, "Go green" niche is pretty hot as well.

No desire to be in the IM niche here. While I do have a couple of info products (jointly produced with my husband), I really like doing affiliate sites for physical products. A lot of mine are for gadgets, because I'm a gadget geek and read about/buy gadgets in my free time, so I might as well put up a site or a squidoo lens with what I know.

Hopefully some day, I will be more appreciated in IM like my offline job.

I got my start WAY outside the IM niche. To this day I still see a steady stream of sales from those smaller sites. But the bulk of my income is from IM and IM related stuff.

A cool trick for anyone anyone running an affiliate program in any niche is to create an IM product teaching how to sell their core program as an affiliate.

Just a sneaky little trick I learned along the way.

    Have fun with that

Smart, and something I'm sure a lot of people in non-IM niches don't think about too often.. but it's always in your best interests to make it as easy as possible for your affiliates to promote your product.

Personally I consider marketing to the IM boring .. and I would much rather "attack" as many other niches as I can.

I think most "gurus" and people selling IM ebooks & courses have no idea how to make money from scratch, or without JVs .. or even make money outside the IM niche ..

Recipe of success ... buy other peoples IM courses .. repackage them .. catchy title .. list of JVs .. go go go .. I've seen it all too many times ..

There are very few genuine people selling in the IM niche .. and they don't sell often .. and there's a reason for that

I spoke (o.k., emailed/PM'd) with someone a couple of weeks ago who was making pretty serious money in the "bedbugs" niche. I shudder just typing "bedbugs" - I cannot imagine entering that market.

Still, this person has built his own little empire in "bedbugs" - ebook, video, AND lead generation for exterminators (for those customers who cannot rid themselves of bedbugs, he hooks them up with "the best" local exterminator, and gets a generous referral fee!).

About a year ago I spoke to someone from my old hometown who was making a living in the "flower arranging" niche (who knew THAT was a niche?). Also, know someone else who makes a nice part-time income promoting "reduce gas" stuff (as in "less farting")!!!!

I am constantly amazed at the stuff selling out there. I cannot find a nice pair of cargo/hiking pants online, but apparently if I ever have gas problems, there are experts willing to sell me "solutions."
