Maybe Your Traffic Decline Is Okay

I've been feeling a little slumpy lately, along with the traffic to my website. It's stabilized so far, but yesterday I took a gander at Google Trends for my main keyword and discovered that this might not be such a big deal after all.

For the past seven years of stats for this term, December is universally the worst month, followed by a large jump again in January (gotta love resolution time!).

So if you're struggling with unexplained low traffic -- and even if you're not -- you can learn quite a bit by taking a look at Google Trends for your topic to see what's coming and to possibly explain lulls in visitors.

    If i see a slump in traffic I always check the previous years traffic for the same period......

    Most of the time its not as bad as it looks

      Yes, around this time of year their is always a decline in traffic as people spend more time with their families for the holidays.
