membership plugin for wordpress or html/php

Hello,

I'm starting to create my own membership area to show tutorial videos to persons who have bought my course. There is one-time-payment, so the membership should generate passwords randomly to everyone, so I can delete them if they go for a refund or something like that.

So, one option is to get some wordpress membership plugin and direct buyers to the wordpress site with a give user and password.
Another idea is to do this in html/php.

Is there any free versions or cheap versions of membership plugins and membership areas that I can use for my product?

    It supports both WordPress and HTML/PHP sites.

    Of course, it's not free or cheap :-). But make sure you calculate total costs (autoresponder, shopping cart, affiliate program) etc before you understand what your true costs are.

    Free: S2Member (good but limited - support ticket slow etc)

    Paid - Wishlist (v.good and ties in with shopping cart/autoresponders etc).

    I recomend second option at $97.

    I use DAP and I'm a total fanatic about it. It really is the best out there; and I meticulously compared and tested it against a dozen other options over the period of a month. You can waste your time and try everything else but if you're serious about a quality membership-driven site, you'll eventually find your way back to DAP.

    I am currently using s2member free version and it does everything I was hoping it would do and more.
