I have had conflicting thoughts all day, forgive me if this is a dumb question.

Lets say you start a Multiple Product Site and you promote 6 things on that site.

If you see one of the products is doing well, or all of them, would you then set up a single product site and also get that ranked on page 1.

Surely that would put the odds in your favor 2 sites on page one, one is a multiple product site the other is selling the single product.

What are your thoughts?

Much depends on the value of doing that. If they are all on the same IP, that can be more difficult. For me, I have found that dominating the first position is enough, and I can expand my content and search traffic all from one site. That said, I have multiple paths to success involving multiple sites, just not all targeting the same search result sets.

It is okay to contact me! I have been developing software since 1999, creating many popular products like phpLD.
