Wordpress post number

How can you tell what numbers the posts are. I know Wordpress assigns numbers to each post that you create, so how do you tell? I want to exclude some of the pages in my Adsense plugin but cannot see numbers assigned to posts.

When you go into the "Posts" or "Pages" sections of your admin, simply hover over the "Edit" link of any post or page. You'll see the URL has "post=" followed by a number. That number is the post or page ID.

Thanks. I have been using Wordpress for a few years now and still hadn't realized that.
