Best way to prevent click fraud?

If I was starting a pay per click advertising option on my website, what would be the best way to prevent click fraud?

  • I would say anyone with an advanced plan could beat it, as even google struggles with this. A simple method is allowing only one click per IP address to count per day.

    • Thanks, I thought of this, but there are many ways to get around it.

      I guess then the only way to go further is to actively watch the click statistics, and decide for yourself if something fishy is up...
