Confusion and a Little Help Requested

Ok. I think I've finally got a good website started, have outsourced some articles, and now i"m confused. I've read a lot on here about setting up a website an then also setting up a blogger blog and a squidoo and linking the blog and the squidoo to the main site. That's where my confusion comes in.

Do I take one of the articles and post it to the squidoo and another different article and post it to the blog and then just link those articles to the main site? Do I need to keep posting to the squidoo and the blog or just link that one article?

I understand the importance of backlines I'm just a little fuzzy on how to use them effectively.

    Anyways, might as well clear it out...

    - Made a Squidoo lens about your product or website.
    Create a blogger blog. just add your squidoo link on it - add a paragraph or so to this blog.
    Add link of blogger on your Squidoo
    Use DIGG to review squidoo lens.
    Bookmark with Stumbleupon.
