Ezine has suspended me, can't imagine why. I haven't bothered submitting an article to thim in months. Evertime I tried to submit anything since PANDA came up they declined my articles saying that my aarticle did not fulfill the promise of the title.
But I would change the title so it did not offer any promisses and they just continued declining.

So does anyone have a good alternative to ezine and article marketing?

My traffic is way down, All my sales lately have come from tv and internet radio appearances.

It sounds like you're ready to give up article marketing because of a bad experience on one site.

There are thousands of article directories with many lists provided here at the forum. Have you tried Googling the same?

I wouldn't let trouble with one site stop me from doing something that provided traffic.

The possible reasons for this include ...

    (i) Problems with the site(s) linked to in existing resource-boxes

(ii) People "reporting" articles which weren't really compliant with the editorial guidelines in force when they were accepted but still "slipped through the net"

(iii) Subsequent discovery that an article already accepted turned out previously to have been published elsewhere under another name (including original authors notifying EZA of this) thus giving rise to a suspicion (though not always a correct one!) that it might have been stolen property

(iv) Changes of policy/interpretation within EZA

It may well be worth discussing it with them. Suspended accounts are regularly reinstated there.

There's no other comparable article directory at all, in my opinion. The difference in utility between EZA and their "second-rate" competitors is absolutely huge.

Different question altogether, of course. There are many entirely different traffic generation models from article marketing. The forum's full of them, really. Note, though, that putting articles in directories in an attempt to generate either traffic or useful backlinks that way isn't "article marketing". It's only "article directory marketing", which is a dead loss anyway. If this was your aspiration in submitting articles to EZA for publication, then it's no real loss to you at all.

ya know something Alexa you're right. I was looking at my stats and I have way more page views of my articles on my own blogs than I did on ezine.

Same here. That's a good thing: you don't want potential customer traffic swanning off to an article directory that makes its living out of all the AdSense clicks of the people who don't get as far as your own site, when you can have those visitors coming straight to your site instead.

EZA used to be a good place to post your articles. That was a few years ago.

Since Google slapped many of their pages and they lost a lot of money (Google adsense revenue), they now are very careful of which articles can come in and which ones can't.

If you have great article content in the make money online and internet marketing niche, then I recommend that you use this forum's article section. It costs $60 for a one year subscription and you can submit up to 5 new ones per day.
