Like if you do a report on a miracle vitamin, and have affiliate links in it, would that be a good idea?

What I am saying is have a report on some miracle "cure", then link to amazon associate through it.

Well, I can tell you that the majority of torrent sites (there really aren't a lot of popular ones left) don't allow you to include affiliate links anywhere inside of an upload. This even includes on pictures. I used to spam these sites back in 2006 when it was incredibly easy and traffic flowed like a river from them.

However, since the majority of these sites are dead and are filled with people looking to get free things rather than paying for them, I don't think you're going to find an effective target market here.

Plus not to mention the majority of the stuff uploaded on them are illegal.

It's not a good to me, imho because people who are downloading torrents are freebie seekers, so you won't get many buyers... unless you're looking to get a lot of traffic for an adsense site.

It may have worked wonders a few years ago but not so much anymore - torrent sites no longer allow affiliate links and things have changed...

Ah, I see. This makes complete sense. I do remember that about 3-4 years ago, you used to see people saying this was worth trying, uploading a version of your own PDF including affiliate links, to these dodgy sites and making it look like an "illicit download copy", but I haven't seen anyone commenting on it at all for ages, now. Maybe too many people tried it and even the torrent sites "put their foot down with a firm hand"?!
