Can someone tell me a bunch of companies that pay you for collecting email adresses for them?

I saw an IM Youtube video that said you can use craigslist to collect email addresses for companies and that they'll pay you $1.20 per email or something like that.

I don't know which companies specifically offer this but I was looking for some names or a list of companies, if anyone can help that'd be awesome. I'm sure this is an elementary question for most of you experienced IMs

    You are not actually the one collecting the email addresses.

    No company in its right mind will trust email addresses just given to them, without first knowing how that email address was collected.

    What you are looking for is companies that pay for CPA Leads (Cost Per Action).

    The best way to get started with those companies is to sign up with one of the CPA networks, such as NeverBlue, Commission Junction, MaxBounty, etc.

    The structure is that you will present opportunities for people to click through to the vendors squeeze page, which requests in most cases just an email address, then you will get paid roughly $1.20 for the referral for someone who has completed the form.

      There are definitely companies out there that will pay good money for good leads. As Bill said though, they will want to know how you are collecting the leads and they will want to test the quality of those leads. If they aren't making money from the leads then they will not want to keep buying them from you.

      But the lead selling business can be a very lucrative one if done properly. CPA offers are the bottom end of lead generation though. If you deal with companies directly you can command much much higher fees per lead than you ever would with a CPA offer.

    When I was doing this, it was for adult entertainment and I was essentially spamming torrenting networks and YouTube. There were some easy $100 days but unfortunately, that's not anyway to build a lucrative or reliable business. It's also not even doable anyway, at least the way I was doing it anyways.

    If you're asking about companies who pay you to create fake e-mail addresses, then the only bet you'll have there is to create e-mails and fake profiles for new dating sites or community sites looking to create a more "full" website. I've seen it advertised a few times on another forum.

    If you're looking to send e-mails to companies like the CPA companies mentioned above, just know that they pay incredibly low, they're famous for holding payments, shaving and all kinds of other miscellaneous things. Sure, there are some great CPA companies out there but do extensive research on all of them and if they even think you're trying to defraud or cheat them, you can say goodbye to any potential earnings you've made.

    If you're looking to send e-mails for profit, why not just find targeted people and collect them for yourself? That's far more profitable than getting a lousy $1 - $3 per qualified lead.
