      depends on the kind of work that you want done actually..

      i use VA's who are experienced in telemarketing as well as other works and it goes from $5-$7/hr.

    What kind of tasks are we talking about at this rate?

    ie:

    - creating backlinks
    - blog commenting
    - yahoo answers
    - forum contibutions
    - email management
    - etc.

    What specifically do you guys recommend using this type of outsourcing for?

    It depends on skill level and if they are apart of an office that manages them or work from home.

    In general, I would estimate between $500 and $800 a month. If you don't pay well, they will drag out tasks until you realize they aren't doing anything for you because they started working for someone else that is paying them an extra $25 a month and rightfully so.

    A lot of people here boast about how they have someone full time that works for $300 a month, but chances are they work "full time" for 3 or 4 other people too.

    It really depends on the type of work you want done, the skills you want your VA to have and how experienced your VA is. You can get an inexperienced VA for $2-3/hour. More experienced VAs with special skills like programming, web design, SEO writing costs a bit more. I can give you a better estimate if you can give more details on what kind of VA you're looking for.
