Is there a minimum as far as page length when writing a low priced kindle ebook (non-fiction)?

    No.
Generally, most indie authors try to write a minimum of 2,000 words, as anything less feels more like a short article rather than an ebook. But in the end, there are no rules to word count or page length; just write enough until you have all bases covered and all the information a reader might need.

Cool. Thanks for the answer. I was confused because I saw people selling their ebook for .79 and they had 200 plus pages ... I was like, "What?"

You would be surprised. There are long books selling for 99 cents on Kindle, this lets the author get exposure and with enough sales volume the revenue is still significant.

Technically no. Usually kindle books are cheap due to their negligible publishing cost.

I would worry less about price and more about content. You could put up a 20 page book for 99 cents that is jam-packed with GREAT content and people will be happy that they ONLY paid 99 cents! Or you could write a crappy 50 page book full of fluff and get a lot of refunds, even if it was just 99 cents.

There is no minimum length requirements, but most authors do short books in the range of 10,000 to 20,000 words.

The important thing is to provide enough content so that your customer will be satisfied with their purchase.

As in every other discussion about length, I would like to quote something I have heard here in the forum before....

The length of your content is like a woman's skirt. "It should be short enough to attract attention, but long enough to cover the essentials."

Ha, ha. Great quote, and applicable.

My kindle book is just over 13,000 words (non-fiction).

I could have written more, but it would have fluff and not really necesary to what I was trying to say. I hope my readers feel the same way!

Can anyone recommend a good ecover person on Fiverr?

I havent used anyone on Fiverr for this, but I do use Myecovermaker.com.

    - You sign up for around $15/mo, last time I checked.
    - Then, get your images from sites like Dreamstime or Fotolia (they're worth it.)
    - So once you're ready to create the cover at Myecovermaker, everything is very easy, it's very "drag and drop." So just upload the image and type some text. You can change font/style/size simply by selecting from their pre-defined options, so there's no headache involved.

You could save more money this way than going to Fiverr, especially if you're planning on publishing several books per month.

Do you feel like they turn out pretty high quality?

The main thing to remember is, that after reading your book, the buyer must feel that they have received value for their money. Then they will remember you and look for your stuff. It is not the quantity of words, it is the quality.
    Best of luck!
