WTF? Dude is bribing people to take action??

One of the marketers I've worked with in the past just sent me an email about a new program he's testing. He's literally going to bribe first time entrepreneurs to take action.

His specialty is helping startups generate initial revenue, but what he found is, most are unable to take action on a consistent basis. So he's put together a marketing program that presents his proven marketing material in step by step modules, then he rewards participants for taking action. It's literally a bribe.

What do you people think? Will that work? I'm not convinced it will help everyone actually take action, but I guess it could increase the chances of success.

    I know people who have used similar system effectively.

    The most difficult part is having the participant prove they did take action.

    I understand the "freebie" bribe. This is a bit more tangible. For example, complete a module, and I'll send you an iPhone. Finish another module, and I'll give you Aweber for a year. etc. etc.

    The fact that most newbies and even some veterans are unable to take action is no surprise to me. The top 10% of any industry make most of the money and it's like that in online marketing and literally any industry you can think of.

    What the person you're talking about does is to plant the right belief in people's mind. I can and will work because the only thing that equals any value in your business is how much work you're willing to put in. Telling people that only things which they can control will make them rich is the CORRECT APPROACH.

      I'm overlooking that product right now. I seen a post on it today and it was cheap enough to dive into it.

      Right now I am just watching the videos, seeing if I can find something new, so far I haven't. That's about it for now. I cannot comment any further.

      The rewards thing is interesting, but I have seen it used with other products.

      My goal is though is to find if this has any real value.

    Some people will do anything to get the business. In the last 30 days I have had two different people offer to pay my way to become business partners with them. I said NO simply because I'm not interested. I'm doing what I love...my plate is super full.. I have no interest. That is how some make money but I don't see it being the way of the future for them.

    It sounds like a great idea. He could just sell the product and not worry about whether they succeed or not. Offering a bribe to encourage them to stick to it and implement it is good relationship building.
