I Need Some Advice Re PLR Article Packs

I need a bit of advice regarding pricing and demand.

I have a very good writer who I have just taken on full time and want to sell some article packs to help cover the cost and to provide her work when I do not have enough for myself.

So I decided on article packs containing 10 articles.

I will obviously limit the number that are sold but what do you think is a better pricing structure.

1. $20 for 10 articles limited to 10 customers
2. $15 for 10 articles limited to 15 customers

As I said she is a very good writer and they will be quality original articles of a minimum of 500 words

Look forward to hearing your opinions.

P.S. If I decide to do a WSO obviously will reduce the price for members!

I think $10 for 10 articles and limit it to 20-30. Either way though, just make sure you don't allow resale rights or give away rights to the articles or the limited use will be voided as everyone can keep selling more and more copies.

I agree with VegasGreg, otherwise it doesn't seem like it would be very profitable? I limit my distribution to 100 on my PLR packs.

      Thanks for both your comments.

The reason I was going to limit it to 20 or so is to give the customer more value, I figured at 100 people that might dilute the value somewhat.

I will definitley add the no resale/giveaway rights idea

Yeah....I think you could confuse the buyer when you say, PLR articles. This means, that other webmasters have the same articles. But if they are unique articles, they could sale for a WHOLE LOT MORE! Don't short change yourself. Don't call them PLR articles, just say they are 100% unique content website content for sale. Make sure to keep noting that it is unique quality content that has never been published or used before. This should get you a sale of at least $40 an article pack.

I take your point on calling them plr articles but don't think anyone will pay $40 for articles that are going to 15 or 20 other people no matter how good they are.

I am a big fan Of Tiffany Dow and her articles are great but even Tiffany doesn't charge $40

    Hi

I'll just put my 2 cents in for you here. I agree that they shouldn't be marketed as PLR articles because too many people will not read the license and your articles will be found all over the place. I would market them as semi-exclusive articles packs at 10 for $20. And limit them to 20 people as you suggested. There are quality writers who write articles for $3 each, so you need to stay within the market pricing.

    Talk again soon.

    Enjoy your day!

I think the vast majority of people wouldn't pay $20 for 10 articles no matter how limited they were. I think $5-$10 for 10 articles is reasonable.

I've personally never seen the value in limiting copies of PLR articles. Mainly because to make them unique I'd have to rewrite them even if only one other person used them (so to me it doesn't matter whether 10 people or 100 people have the articles). Also it's an unfortunate fact that PLR articles get shared like crazy on blackhat forums so it's pretty hard to limit distribution.
