Was wondering does anyone here market on youtube? Like make a youtube video and have your affliate links watermarked in the video? I think this might work out. Please share any tips if you think this might work.

    Lonelyguy,
I get quite a few visitors and sales from YouTube clicks.

The key is getting people to move from Youtube to your landing page/salesletter.

2 Part videos work well...as in, show them good content then tell them to come to your site for Part 2...

Also, you can use the last frame to point them (via an arrow or some other visual clue) to your link in the right hand column...

That's the biggest hurdle...of course there is a ton of traffic (people) on Youtube. You just need to figure out how to provide them good content then get them to move your direction.

    Hope this helps,
    Jack

I tried marketing on youtube because someone told me you can make a lot of money for it.......I say screw that......Sure enough, I was getting about 200 hits to my site, but it was all junk clicks without any sales. I guess if you pick the right videos to comment, you can get some more sales. The time and effort spent on commenting on videos, you could spend building your backlinks, which will get you traffic anyway!

I just started with this to get people interested in things I am in network marketing to follow me on twitter. So I give little instruction videos on things I have done that work to bring in new followers and better manage it. Honestly it has worked while im not getting hundreds of video views I do not mind that. What I like is that I am getting quality people who want to follow me for the right reasons.
Make your video about something in particular and then in the description link it back to a page that has to do with what you are talking about in your video. It works everything works the trick is not to put all your eggs in one basket

I agreed with SeanSupplee, you need to make a video that channel specific people to your video. A niche to be exact.
So the people that watch your videos will only be the people who are really interested in that particular subject and it is easier to make sales that way.
    Just my opinion...

Hey..I market with Youtube videos, and I like it. Video is a powerful medium, if you can get good at it and use the proper keywords and descriptions, your video will be viewed. Don't expect fast results, but they do show up on Google searches. I love video's and highly recommend them. About watermarking, you need to get camtasia studio 6. It's free to use for 30 days, and you can do all that cool stuff like watermarking, zooming, and panning etc. I hope this helps.
    Good Luck

The first youtube video I ever made has received over 500,000 views over all the different video sites (115,000+ on YouTube alone) and is still getting traffic right now.

It ranks #1 for a variety of very profitable keywords. It took me about 2 hours to make, and it generates money for me to this day.

The secret, in my opinion, is first to find something topical that relates to your niche. Find big currents moving large amounts of people. Don't start in your little niche and then branch to the river. Dam the river and divert it to your stream.

Second, you need to make sure to inform but also to entertain. People might watch PBS if it's on, but they will come home to watch CSI. YouTube is something people do for fun. Make sure your video is entertaining!

Here's a link to my video:

As you can see, I built it with public domain music, public domain images, and a little leg work. It only took me a few minutes to get the quotes together using search engines. And then I just had to cut and paste everything into my video maker. Figuring out the video maker was the hardest part.

Anyway, thats my take on it. Find some cultural phenomenon that people are ALREADY talking about. Figure out a way to relate it to your niche. Then make an entertaining video about it that also informs people about the topic.

Then watch the traffic come flooding in!

The rankings came serendipitously. I wasn't trying to rank for keywords at all... my initial motivation was to expose these blowhards talking about how great the real estate market was when I knew for sure it was going to bust.

I made the video to get traffic from YouTube, and the SERPS was just a bonus

Video marketing is a fantastic way to drive traffic to your websites. But, you do not want to stop with just YouTube. I submit all of my videos to all of the major video sharing sites. At lease use Viddler as well as YouTube. They seem to work really well.
