Monetizing Traffic for New Wordpress Site

My plan worked. My wordpress site went from 5-10 visitors a day to getting over 800+ a day in a few days.

Only problem is, turning it into a money making opportunity. It's a Gangnam style site and I put a few ads on there. I only get paid about $8-10 bucks a day from it and I am looking for ideas on how to monetize it even more.

If you guys have any ideas let me know.

How did you get it to 800+ in a few days? This could be important.

      Organic SEO.

      Auzan - Very good idea.

ringer37 - I'm using Thesis. I'm trying to figure out how to put an adsense banner above my menu tabs (at the very very top). Do you have any idea how to do that?

Do have a theme designed specifically for adsense clicks installed? That can make a big difference.

Have you thought about the CTR theme?

I used it, but honestly not too crazy about it. It didn't dramatically increase my CTR. Anyway, I used the Hook Plugin you suggested Jubu and it works beautifully.

I think I'm going to see a lot more profitability from this site. I am surprised to see how fast traffic as swarmed to it

Do you know who visitors are, i.e. is it random traffic
or traffic in a particular market with shared interest?

    1. Obviously you can put up ads. If you currently have
PPC ads, consider CPM or banner ad deals (e.g. buysellads)
so that your income is more predictable.

    2. You promote affiliate products. Go to Clickbank and
choose a converting offer tailored to the type of traffic
that you have (there are plenty of resources on this topic).

    3. Put up a survey form using Qualaroo/Zopim -- just ASK
what your visitors want. Say something like "What's your
biggest problem/concerns/worries in XXXX (your market)"
or whatever question you can solicit some intelligence about
    your visitors.

And then you craft the offer to suit those needs.

    I hope this makes sense

Check out this screenshot. I just hit 1,000 visitors for today.

This site took me no more than 5 mins to build on wordpress and I did no type of advertising whatsoever.

BTW Owen Lee, CPM ads might not be too bad. I'll look into it. The rest are pretty hard to utilize considering the type of site it is (based on popular subject and not necessarily a niche)
