PLR Articles VS Article Directory Articles

Just to hear your thoughts and opinions on this based on your experience of which one has given you the better result.

Obviously, these are not unique content and many people use them, but I'm trying to decide on which route source to draw articles from to rewrite.

My question is which of these 2 are usually higher quality?

If your deadset on using other articles, which I don't recommend. Directory articles will generally be of a slightly higher quality. But I would do your keyword research than gather a bunch of both types and skim through them to find the ones you think are best. I mean if your not going to write your own the least you can do is read them. Then at least you will know if you are using a quality article.

Yeah that's what I mean, I want to choose top quality article, but that's why I'm asking if PLR or directory article is higher quality so I can spend time browsing their individual source.

It would be wrong to say definitively that PLR or Directory articles are better than the other across the board; it depends on who wrote the article and what level of knowledge and research they put into it.

If it were me I would just go with what reads the best and if you need to tweak the keywords then do that yourself. Remember: content is king and that means quality in the eyes of visitors and Google.

That's absolutely spot-on. It's like asking whether the Americans are taller or the English people are taller.

That said, I would go with the top/most recommended PLR provider simply because it's more convenient. Do a simple search and you'll see many PLR recommendations. Compare and compile the list so you know who to look for.

Technically, both PLR and Article directories have around the same quality level, so you can really choose either one of them and just get cracking!

It is how you rewrite them that's important.

I hope you won't be re-writing any that you've taken from article directories! Not if the words "derivative works" and "law of copyright" mean anything to you, anyway!

I'm going try to give an answer that is basically honest. And not an answer that you and others might want to hear.

It's been my experience that PLR articles as well as articles from directories are no substitute for original content. The reason most people avoid creating original content is that perhaps they can't write, or to they don't want to spend the time, research and energy needed to accomplish writing quality articles.

As for rewriting articles that you get from article directories as it as has been mentioned in this post, that would be a violation of copyright. However, there might be an easier way for you to find content to rewrite. There are various press release companies that regurgitate real news, in some cases, about companies or products, which could be the starting point for a good article.

Why not go to some of the PR sites and check out the subjects that are of interest to you for your Internet marketing. As long as you don't change the material facts in the press release, most companies and people seeking publicity, would have no problem with you rewriting the release..

Sadly, shortcuts and writing content always leads to a dead-end.

The quality of the content depends on how well written and researched the content is, not on whether Private Label Rights was attached to the content, or whether the content was found on Article Directories.

The quality of content found on Article Directories will vary from author to author, just like the quality of PLR content will vary from one PLR content provider to the next.

I'm sure in both cases, you can find high quality content, just like in both cases you can find weak forms of content.

    An Alternative Question?
Instead of looking at it as one source of content being of a higher quality, in general, to the next... I think the better question would be, which is a better source of content, given your specific needs.

You're looking for content to rewrite. As Alexa Smith pointed out, rewriting content found on Article Directories is not an appropriate course of action.

So, if you're looking for content to rewrite, PLR content may be a better content solution for you. All you have to do, is find high quality PLR content. And Yes, high quality PLR content does exist.

The quality of the content is dependent on the content, not necessarily where it was found or what type of license it's licensed under.
