A Question For Fellow Amazon Affiliates

Hey guys,

so I've been using a few different type of themes for my review sites, but with building more bigger and authoritative sites I figured I needed a theme that looks more the part, and has much more customization.

I do eventually plan to have my own made via my guidelines but for now, I'm always looking for something 'better'.

What do you guys think about this as a product review / product how-to theme?

WordPress - SwagMag - WordPress Magazine/Review Theme | ThemeForest

Too cluttered? Simple looking yet complex and stylish? Informative?

Click on Live Preview and would be nice if you could let me know. I know I could have posted this in the web design section but it was more a question regarding whether other Amazon Affiliates thought the theme was more useful to visitors or too complex, so figured it belonged in here.

For others who wonder what themes I use, I mix between:

InReview, ProReviewTheme, AzonTheme and ReviewEngine. They are all decent, but this one caught my eye.

    Hi Jason,

I am not a professional. I also do not know what type of customization this theme has. But when looking thru the demo part, I really like it, it looks professional and it has lots of visual content (not just plain text) which is good I think.

Final answer: I like it and I consider using it for my sites

I've never used any of the review themes for Amazon. I try and keep the pages simple and clean so that the reviews and the calls to action standout. The theme you mentioned looks nice and professional but I'm not sure it suits the purpose of Amazon affiliate sites, at least not mine, since I like to have a lot more info on the front page. I tend to select themes for their customization options, Thesis and Canvas are the ones I use the most.

Thats a nice looking theme. As long as you can fill all the content areas (or just get rid of some of them), I think it would be an excellent theme to use.

Some other templates (InReview, ProReview) make it easy to highlight specific reviews. If you are more focused on having lots of reviews rather than one or two really highly converting reviews, I think that SwagMag is a good choice.
