Is Anyone Really Getting Significant Traffic From Ebook Directories?

Hey Warriors

I've been hearing rumors and mumblings about people making full time incomes by submitting ebooks (Original and PLR) to ebook directories.

Is this true?

Can you really drive enough traffic this way to make enough sales to live on?

I'd especially love to hear from anyone who is actually doing this.

Thanks
Ricky

I have a couple of books on Amazon kindle, when I give them away for free I get a lot of traffic. I have not even tried the other ebook directories. Amazon is where the traffic is anyways.

        That's brilliant!

Never knew you could use Amazon like that. I'm assuming your ebooks contain links. Are they clickable? Or do you have to spell out the url so your readers can copy and paste them into their browser?

I don't send traffic traffic to opt in pages anymore. I Do This instead...

You can make links clickable in kindle books. Often time you don;t need to. If you delivered what was promised in the title of your books readers will seek you out themselves for more great information.

We get more out of integrating the eBook offers into our product.

    1. Using them as a snare to get people to sign up.
    2. Linking to them as education for our free customers.

But in our case... we aren't trying to make money off of the ebook or content marketing. To see our offers, for example:

and more recently we've decided to break books up into an email class...
