Clickbank cheque question

I have just received my first pay cheque from clickbank and I assume the denomination is in US dollars however it does not specify it anywhere. When i go to cash the cheque will it get cashed in US dollars and converted to local currency or be cashed at my local currency?

Take a look at the bank that the cheque is drawn on. It will probably say something like "Bank XYZ, USA", which means that it is a US cheque. Your bank should know

Hi, I am from the UK, it is a US dollars cheque.

UK banks call it a foreign cheque, you are paid in your local currency on whatever the exchange rate is on the day it is cashed.

In the UK it takes about 10 days to get cashed and there is a fee to pay as well...

I'm a fellow Canadian - and yes, the checks are in US currency and will automatically be converted into CND$. Every two weeks when I cash my CB check I get an adjustment about 2-3 days later for the currency.

Of course, the great news right now is that we are getting a 20% premium when changed into CND funds - sweet!

It's a very nice pay raise right now (lot better than 5 months ago). I always take mine in to the bank and mention it's a US check to the teller so there is no mistake.

I would suggest you ask clickbank. But everyone is correct, the check is based on a US bank.

Yeah the pay raise is great right now

Once per month I take all my US checks to the bank and tell the cashier to deposit everything in my US bank account and when I see the Canadian dollars drop, I quickly move all my US funds in my Canadian account.

Never took longer than 2 or 3 days for mine to clear at Barclays.

ClickBank cheques are issue in USD and then when you cash it in your country the total is converted into your local courrency....for people outside the US I would recommend direct deposit..faster and better exchange rates....

My CB cheques cleared instantly and without any fees in my bank here in the UK. The beauty of still having my student account.

Though I don't get them anymore, direct deposit FTW!

What amounts do you guys set for CB to send you out a check? I guess the default value isn't very economical?
