Hey warriors,

Just wondering where you are at with your online business. Did it meet your expectations? Do you need to improve? How can you make 2013 way better?

    Unfortunately not.

    I failed a lot due to lack of experience and lack of budget. But I've learned a lot in that time and in the past month I've found a lot of major possibilities for upcoming year. So I set up a major goal to earn $50k by the end of 2013, which from current point of view I see as achievable goal.
    I also stopped thinking about riches over night and changed my mindset to quality and long term

    Panda/duplicate content penalties near halved my online income in September. Not good.

    Still, I've quit my job and I'm going to go live in a different country in 2013. Next year will be full of tremendous opportunities for me.

      2012 was an experiment year for me. but did good and at par with my expectations. but if I have had more budget and took knowledgeable action, then things could have been bigger (though on the second thought gaining knowledgeable action was my primary goal for the experimentation). there are more things to learn in 2013 and hoping another good learning year. this business is a long challenging journey.

    2012 is my stepping stone year. I need to learn from my mistakes, use my successes as motivation in going forward, and continue in improving our services for everyone. Who knows? Maybe 2013 will be our breakout year. We'll see.

      Some awesome replies so far. Personally, i am quite happy with my 2012 efforts. Learnt some great things like:

      How to leverage other peoples work to make more money
      Started list building with solos
      I am ranking every post i make on one of my sites on the first page of google
      Learnt to stress less and enjoy what we do a bit more, afterall that is why we do it no?
      Learnt how to make a dollar go further with paid advertising

      Looking forward to next year though, hopefully it will be the best one yet
