How to Sell a Website on Flippa.com?

Hi WF,

I'm working with a friend and have recently just published our first website on Flippa to see how well it does in the Auctions.

We've set it with No Reserve and have started at $1.

Its a great site, one-of-a-kind in an incredible niche and has already started to dominate Google page 1 for several Keywords within its 1st Month of being live and it would be great to get any friendly advice on the best way to promote our site and what are the best tips to help sell on Flippa.

The link is
https://flippa.com/2862501-835-in-ju...red-no-reserve

It has 9hrs left to go on the Auction, has already had 26 Bids, 21 Watchers, so its going well so far but we're sure there's more that can be done to promote it and achieve the best possible bid.

If any WF members have experience with Flippa and could offer any friendly advice on the best ways to promote and increase our Auction revenue, the help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

You should have a BIN price. It would definitely give an idea to the customers on how much the site is worth. For instance, if you put BIN at $120 people would think like oh my. even he thinks that the website is worth this much.
But if you put the BIN at $3025 or something then people would start taking it more seriously and think that having to bid on it at $120 is definitely worth the shot etc etc.
But putting the BIN too high might just shun away others i guess. But you must be prepared to let the website go at the BIN price.

Anyway good luck. The auction seems to be going really good.

Totally agree about setting a realistic BIN price. I would have a figure in mind and then double it. That way people are likely to start bidding at closer to the level that you want to sell at

Thanks for both your advice, I really appreciate it as this our first attempt at selling a site.

The bidding has gone better than expected but we aren't to sure as the best way to increase the bids and generate the sale we've got in mind.

Would you recommend putting a BIN price on it now as it only has 8hrs left in the Auction?

Thank again for the advice, greatly appreciated.

I would recommend, contacting your competors in you niche . So that they might want to buy it to keep competion low and expand themselves.
