GetResponse.com users I need your help...

Hey GetResponse.com users have a quick question. It's

I'm considering switching my service to GetResponse.com

I am currently using Aweber and have had great results. I want to switch for various reasons, but I am concerned about deliverability.

In your experience how has the deliverability been?

Thanks,

Shannon

    Hi Shannon,

GetResponse seems to work quite well; but I am very new to using it. I really just began. Haven't had any problems with it, yet.

In my experience (I did some limited testing with a number of email accounts) the verified opt-in delivery was very good, however the single opt-in delivery was not so great.

With my GetResponse forms the confirmation email takes 5-10 minutes to arrive. I don't experience lag time with AWeber.

When I asked the GR customer service they said 5-10 minutes was normal. That didn't sound right, but makes me lean toward AWeber, despite AWeber's price.

Sorry, don't mean to hijack. In terms of deliverability I don't know.

hmmm... the reason I am looking to switch is I am seeing a 30% lose of subscribers due to the double opt-in process.

Lets assume that Aweber has a 90% deliverability rate while Getresponse has a 75% deleverability rate on single optin.

I am still going to make out in that situation?

*for the record I think Aweber is the better service, but I dont want my buyers to have to double optin and I am forced to do that with Aweber.

I have monitored the numbers for almost a year and I have lost out on 1247 BUYERS due to the double optin proccess.

Most people say that double optin is a cleaner list. Well, I will take an extra 1247 dirty buyers any day.

    Hi Shannon,

I work quite closely with the GetResponse crew and
can tell you that they maintain a very strong focus
on deliverability. This has been discussed often in
the past and I can assure you that they are on par -
or better - with their competitors.

In terms of the time it takes to receive confirmations,
this could be based on a number of factors and
should not be construed as representative of email
deliverability. They are not one and the same.

Email deliverability is something that GetResponse
constantly tests and you can rest assured that they
will perform as well - or better - than other companies.
