Xmas newbie without a strategy

merry christmas to all and to all a happy new year!

I'm a community manager based in Paris and New York.

I operate about 20 SM channels between FB, Tw, LinkedIn, G+, etc. via Hootsuite, a service which is not perfect but which I really enjoy using.

Tried out the bulk-send feature a couple times, then stopped because I was bored. Then started using it again recently and now it's like when you reach a high level on Bloons TD4 and you're just blasting shit all over the screen all day long. Can't live without it.

My clients include a hotel in Paris, a translation agency, a movie news site, a novelist's site and a political blogger's site. Beside Twitter, I set up FB, LIn, etc.

I got into community management because I'm fascinated by Twitter's power (more than Facebook or anything else). you could say I'm a Twitter fanatic.

I bought out followers, which I don't like doing, but I did because 39 followers just looks bad. On the other hand, kept the numbers low, because a translation agency with 10,000 Folls just looks unholy

Now using TweetAdder with hootsuite to curate who my 5 accounts follow, love the automation feature, but I'm constantly worried Ima get caught. Not sure that I'm doing something wrong but gotta a feeling this isn't 100% legit. But I paid my fee of 70$ + and I'm going to get what I can out of it.

Beyond this, I haven't clearly defined a medium or long-term strategy besides that I want my clients to be known, and I believe that a SM strategy combined with traditional marketing can really help increase exposure.

Wondered if everyone on here is selling stuff or if there are people with clients like me, too.

I would welcome questions/feedback/advice
