Preparing for Launch?

Me and a programming buddy are working on an idea right now. We'll be offering a service which can be accessed through an OptimizePress membership area.

My issue is I've never been very good at building suspense and don't know how to make sure everything is ready for a sales funnel. They will purchase what they need to purchase, and then get their OptimizePress "membership" Info.

I need two pieces of knowledge:

1. How to build suspense or a desire for the product I offer.

2. How to assure all areas of a sales funnel are complete.

If there are a few WSO's that will help me or War Room posts that will help me, I would love the recommendation. I don't want to jump into marketing this service blind. Thanks for the help fellow warriors!

    Hey there,

    The answer to your first question is probably the most wanted piece of information for every internet marketer, it varies greatly, if you figure it out you will be laughing all the way to the bank.

    If you say here exactly what you want your funnel to do, i am sure there is plenty of marketers here to help you for free. Optimizepress is easy to use once you get the hang of it.

    Don't be afraid to ask here

      The answer to the first question is what not only every internet marketer wants, but what everybody selling something wants.

    I'd recommend building an early bird list.

    @Paul

    Will check that out ASAP.

    @Vicky

    Are you saying that there's no info on building suspense? Maybe my description in more detail will help that.

    Our service targets business owners. So naturally we're going to LinkedIn. I'll be using techniques described in the Missing Link and will be using webinars as the main sales factor. So usually I assume I'd just send them to a landing page that will help me out on building suspense. I'll have articles (which will be shared on LinkedIn as a part of adding value) and I know the process isn't going to be one-way only. Giving more articles and added features as a way to add more value is another way to get higher conversions.

    I know some basics, but have 0 experience in it. We have a great idea and I'd love to run with it, just don't want to run bare footed.

    Also if there's any info that will help out on building suspense in a Webinar, that would be loved as well.

    @ Harvey

    I believe LinkedIn will work as an early bird list, but I can use my landing page to build an email list to supplement.

  • 1. How to build suspense or a desire for the product I offer.
    That would be to offer them a trial of what you have to offer. Usually, people would like to see if the product is actually useful and is productive for their uses, and see if your product is worthy of their every cent. It's like those supermarket advertisers who give out free samples of their product -- people takes a bite of what they offer and if they find it good, they'll buy it.

    2. How to assure all areas of a sales funnel are complete.
    Put yourself in your target audience's shoes. If you, as a visitor, sees the site, will you think that it is worthy to buy? Is the website AND the product itself convincing?
    You'd have to see what the target audience wants in order to assure the completion of almost all areas of a sales funnel.

    Good luck man!
