Australian's: Has anyone else not received their ClickBank direct deposit payment for 2012-12-26?

Just wondering if anyone else in Australia is experiencing a delay in this period's (2012-12-26) payment via direct deposit.

I usually receive direct deposit payments from ClickBank the same day they are sent. Payment was sent yesterday and it's 5 pm today and still haven't received payment.

Might just be a delay because of the Christmas holidays, I'm not entirely sure. I've contacted them already and I just wanted to start this thread to see if anyone else hasn't received payment yet.

Yup! Same here mate. I actually came here to look for this thread and saw this straight away ~ no idea why they are late. There is no explanation, but I was thinking Christmas holidays too.

Having said that, it doesn't really fall on any holiday does it? What did CB say?

No...I haven't received any deposit for the 26th either.

      They are usually spot on.

It's got to be something to do with the Christmas period.

I'll give it a day or so, before I contact them.

    Hello Guys:

I hope everyone gets their checks ASAP into your accounts. However, I see that all are making a decent amount every month on clickbank. I an not a newbie, but tried clickbank and made a few sales, but nothing to brag about. Seeing you guys making a good income, wanted to ask your business model. I am not asking to reveal your niches or sites or anything, just your business model on how you are making clickbank sales. Are you guys vendors or affiliates?

Is Boxing Day a bank holiday in Australia?

According to Wikipedia December 26th in a public holiday in most of Australia, so the banks probably don't process payments.

It would have nothing to do with Clickbank sending the payment, just your bank that is receiving the payment. I know a few of my banks had warning messages when I logged in saying payment would take longer to process this time of year.

Nothing to worry about. Go and enjoy Christmas! :-)

You'll all get it today or tomorrow, guys: it's just that your banks' staff are too full of turkey and the amber nectar to process payments yet; you have to wait for them to sleep it off, first.

Hmm, didn't think boxing day was considered a holiday, or a banking holiday at least. But based on the replies here, I'll have to give it another day or two.

Haven't received a reply from CB yet.

That's good. Did you receive it today or yesterday? I'm with Commonwealth as well - still haven't received it, but I'll give it another day or two.

ONE DAY!?!?!? You guys get credit in ONE DAY!?!?!?!? That is GREAT!

And you are upset because it is like 1 day late? In a holiday week? In a FEDERAL holiday week? A MAJOR FEDERAL Holiday week? ALSO at the time when many organizations are doing things with BOOK KEEPING and COMPUTERS!?!?!?!? The only thing bigger than the end of the month, and quarter, is the end of the year.

WOW! I would be happy that I usually get it to you SO quickly! All things considered, that is UNREAL!

And YEAH, if it is a federal holiday in Australia, YOU'RE TOAST! RELAX! If you can't handle ONE day of slow income from ONE source at a time when your bills can probably be paid over a week later, you have bigger problems.

Did you know that with Bank of America they won't transfer money into customers accounts from other banks online, unless it is a business day? And they have TWO options! 1business day and 3 business days. I bet most fall for it and pick 3 business days. BOTH are free, and everything else is the same. IMAGINE though! You could ask for one day on friday and not get it until tuesday! But OBVIOUSLY they have some manual part of the process and/or get alarms or demand approval, and that means it must be a business day to get your money processed.

I recently heard of a large company with soe trading software, and it worked AUTOMATICALLY! Something happened, and it was costing the organization something like $800Million an hour. LUCKILY, someone was there to catch it, and they only lost half the money. Apparently, they came close to being bankrupt. so there are reasons why computers should only be trusted so far.

      Hi Steve,

If you actually read what people are saying here you would of noticed that we are not complaining, rather we are just making sure that what people are experiencing is not an isolated incident. In fact, all we are doing is raising an issue for discussion - I don't definitely think it's a whinge or even a complaint, just purely a discussion.

      Thanks

An Aussie mate is waiting for his 2012-12-26 direct deposit as well.

However, I'm from India and can confirm that I received my 26th direct deposit on 27th. (25th was a bank holiday here but in Australia both 25 and 26 are public holidays).

So it's very likely that the cause of delay is these bank holidays. Figure you'll receive your deposits today.

Boxing Day IS a public holiday for Banks. I believe they are open on the 27th BUT you have to consider the backlog they have to process during this time of year too so if you haven't received payments, it can also be because we are ahead of the US and so the pay can be an extra day or 2 later. I don't sell on Clickbank so I can't speak for that but I know that I was waiting on money from a bidding site that said I would get it on the 24th and I got it on the 28th.

I'm still waiting. No sign of the deposit yet. I'm with a credit union.

There's talk here of "instant" online transactions being implemented in 2013.

Personally, I cant wait for this.

      Well, you can dream.

This may be about the slowest time of the year! it is the end of the project years, month, quarter, and year. Accounting(More to do), computers(more to do, and freeze periods and testing), and people are just slower(more to do, any on vacation). I imagine australia is much the same.

Guys, seriously, I thought us Aussies were renowned for being laid back people.

The money is going to come, clearly. Just be patient. It's the slowest time of the year. This thread reminds me of those customers who complain when you don't answer a support ticket on Christmas day - I mean, really?!

The money could be caught up in the bank Clickbank send from or the bank you are receiving through... or even both. I wouldn't expect it until at least the new year. If the delay in payment causes you money issues then this has been a good lesson that you need to go and diversify your income. Living check to check is a dangerous way of doing things.

      Hi,
Aussies are laid back, what we are doing here is raising an issue to make sure it is not just happening to certain individuals. I don't people are complaining but just discussing an issue that most has never dealt with, (including myself) ie not receiving a payment on time. Most of us do realise that it is most probably due to the holidays, but just wanting a discussion. I think it's all good to discuss right? after all it is a forum. Thanks

AGAIN, when I said on the 31st, I meant US time! That means roughly another 15-20 hours from now. Then again, because of backlogs, and the fact that THEN it might be new years there, figure the 2nd or 3rd. C'est la vie. This only happens to THIS degree once a year(Covers about 2 weeks), and it is about the only time this sort of thing happens WORLD WIDE. OH WELL...

Yeah, the REALLY bad days are like 24th, 25th, 31st,1st, and weekends. So THIS year, there was the 22,23, 29,30 as well. So the two deposit days you mention fall on weekends this year. Of course, the 24th-1st is a time many take off, and it may extend a few days extra in either direction, etc...

Who knows! There is a FEDERAL US requirement that ALL checks over a certain amount(WAS $5000 when I heard about this law, but they were talking about lowering it) have to be MICROFICHED! Well, the banks have determined that it is TOO expensive to pick out checks, so they microfiche EVERY ONE! THAT might be why it takes SO long to REALLY settle a check. Delays were the better part of a week, and sometimes TWO in the mid 80s, so they mandated a kind of advanced approval. Ironically, THAT is what makes the 419 scam work so well. The early approval allows one to pay the scammer, and the REAL delay allows them to get away.

So maybe there IS manual approval!

Well, let's hope that's the case for sure.

Because if CB have to investigate a 'lost' deposit that any of us claim has gone missing, it will take them at least another 6 to 7 weeks before they will consider replacing the missing deposit.

      Yep.....still nothing.

Although normally I won't get the deposit due on the 2nd into my account until Thursday 3rd. So I'll see tomorrow if that hits

I'm with the NAB. Not sure if the issues are with other banks as well.

Given the technology, it's pathetic that we should still be waiting for depositsto be processed from the 26th

Same here. Just checked now (2nd of Jan, 7pm) and haven't received payment yet.

But I received a response from CB.

    BCSR (Carola N) : CLOSED : 12/31/2012 11:15 AM PST
    Hello,

Thank you for your inquiry! We have not received notification that your direct deposit failed; however, because of the holidays there could be a delay with the Banking system.

    Regards,

    ClickBank Accounting
Hopefully both payments will be in by the end of the week.

Yeh.....I got the same stock standard response too from CB a few days ago.

But, at the end of today (3rd) if I don't get 2 deposits, I'm emailing again, using some stronger wording.

This delay might well have nothing tot do with CB directly, but I'll be needing some documented verification to prove the transfers were processed and accepted

My bank will want that before they would start any investigation.

just for the record I'm with Commonwealth, and up until now every single deposit for the last 2 years has always come in for me on the day it was sent (wednesday), so this has to be a scam the banks are running to hog deposits and seat on the money for a few days longer and bank the interest while using christmas and new years day as a convenient excuse imo...
ClickBank uses XACH and it is almost instant to most banks.

WOW, you should tell CLICKBANK about that! They say that is NOT the case:

      Enabling Direct Deposit

      Timing
Once sent, payments take only a few days to reach your account, depending on the country. Specifically, payments take 1-2 business days for Canada; 2-3 business days for Australia, Belgium, France, Germany, Ireland, Mexico, The Netherlands, and New Zealand; 3-4 business days for Austria, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom; and 4-5 business days for Spain.

So we have two versions of wire transfers - one called ACH and the other called XACH. ACH, automated clearinghouse, handles wire transfers domestically in U.S. dollars. XACH is international ACH, which handles wire transfers in many currencies. There are about eight or nine countries to which we can XACH - most of the Western European - for example, it's U.K., Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Singapore, Hong Kong, Switzerland, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and so on. So most of the countries in which you would do business. It doesn't include countries like Bulgaria or Romania, Poland and all of those.
But in all these countries that I talked about, we can do wire transfer immediately. So the money clears into your account the instant we send it. Speed of light.

I can now confirm it is not clickbank's fault, it is infact our banks down under...
I just called my bank's IMT dept and one of the operators confirmed for me that there are multiple deposits "awaiting clearing on my account", when I asked them why they can see the money but it is not on my account yet they just said that there is a "processing cue" and it is "backed up" because of the holidays. They couldn't even tell me when the processing cue will get around to my deposits...

Totally pathetic in this day and age.

What bank are you with? (I'm NAB)

And I can't figure why all the banks seems have this same delay. Maybe all this type of processing is done for all banks here in one central place

        im with commonwealth bank
a couple of years back they pulled a similar stunt and when I called their IMT dept and used "strong language" they pressed a few buttons and made the transfers available in my balance instantly, so its all BS.

Didn't think it would go this far! No pay received for 26th or 2nd here. I trust CB more than any bank. Banks business revolves around screwing people and delaying payments. The longer the delays, the more money they'll make.
