Where Can I Get Good Website Banners Made

Hello,

I need to have a few banners made but I can't seem to find any banner designers other than at fiverr. If you know of any place where good and affordable banner designers / makers can be found, please let me know.

    I posted an ad on elance for banners and within minutes I had several offers and portfolios. Then I had some awesome banners within a couple days. Most of the lower priced folks have broken English but they are very talented.

    I forgot to mention that it depends where your banners are going to be used. More often than not nowadays an ugly and poorly designed banner will give better results than a typical professionally designed banner. The reason being that it looks less like a banner.

    See the banners at the very top of this forum? Just plain text with no images. They look pretty simple and dull, right? Yes. But those types of banners will often do very well because they blend into a site more so and do not stick out like a sore thumb. People have trained themselves not to click on banners so the more your banner looks like a typical banner, the harder it will be for you to get clicks.

    Split testing is obviously essential with something like this but don't be surprised if the banners you just whipped together in a minute or two out perform those created for you by professionals. I definitely recommend testing both types.
