EasyVideoSuite 1.0 Question

Got an email from Josh Bartlett this morning about his new video player product called EasyVideoSuite.

Anyone know if EasyVideoSuite will be self hosted like EVP?

Or will it be a paid monthly service?

I've emailed Josh with my question, but I received an autoresponder message saying he doesn't really monitor that email account, so not to expect a response.

Just thought that maybe someone here was "in the know."

    I would like to know the answer to this my self.

    Just left a message for Chris Farrell... Josh had
    a mini testimonial in his email from Chris.

    Hopefully get an answer soon.

          Hey everyone,

          Thanks for the comments and interest. We really appreciate it. (Remember, we actually started EVP way back in 2009 here as a WSO and it has grown into a major product and brand since then! Time flies!)

          As for your question, yes absolutely.

          My philosophy has always been "Give the customer what they want" rather than simply seek to do what perhaps might be most convenient for us as a business.

          We actually give you the option. If you want to not worry about installing on your sever, no problem. You can get set up within 30 seconds and we set up an account on our sever for you, hosted by us.

          If you want to host the software yourself and be in total control, you are more than welcome to do that and we provide that option too.

          It's about giving our customers choice to do it how they want to do it.

          Finally, a quick comment about my auto response email. It actually just says its not "regularly manned" because that specific email is not the best email to use to contact me or my team. (Hence why we have the auto response on that particular email) It states where to contact us for support and I have always been 1000% committed to customer service.

          Our team are always here to help any of you with any video related questions or issues at any time and we do our very best to help you as much as we possibly can. (I tell my team, when it comes to my customers, nothing is too much when we are trying to help them)

          Customers ALWAYS come first.

          Thanks again for the interest, and although I dont have time to post in here as often as I would like, I will try to keep an eye out in case anyone has any other questions.

          (But the best place to ask them right now is either in our support desk, to our email or on our Facebook group for EasyVideoSuite which is actually buzzing right now and has a competition going for a free copy of EVS and a GoPro 3 Black camera too.. so feel free to check it out.     I have used EVP for a few years. I still think it's quite expensive for a video player.

    OK, I learned that EVS will indeed have a self-hosted option. Which is great news for my biz!
