How to Make Money on Fiverr

Hello Fellow Warriors,

I desire to make more money on fiverr, but will need your inputs on what gigs sell most, how to package my gigs, and the best way to really render services on fiverr?

The way I started was with a couple of lists:

    1. What am I prepared to do in my spare time for $5? (brainstorm it, be really broad and no idea is too stupid; just take a look at Fiverr and you'll see some really off the wall gigs).

    2. Make a list of all the software you have access too (subscriptions, WSO buys, anything), see what you can produce in terms of an output and find ways to package these as gigs.

Also offer a "3 for 2" on your gigs; it'll mean a little more work initially, but it will get you Level 1 seller status quicker and then you can offer more expensive gig extras.

    Hope this helps.

To see what gigs sell the most, you can survey it at Fiverr.
If you had no idea what to sell at fiver, i think you should stop from thinking to make money there. Do what you know and something you can master very well.

If I was you, I would dedicate my time somewhere else. But if you like fiverr, start promoting SEO or article services. If you have some expertise, offer that. People seem to go after you the person.

Fiverr appeals to the cheap and delusional people who want everything for $5. So, make your deal look shinier than the top seller offering your exact gig, give them more and you'll more than likely have more orders.

Why is there a ton of new Fiverr threads a day?

I downloaded it, edited in free iWisoft Video Converter, removed the credentials of company at the beginning and end of video (takes 2 seconds), uploaded on Fiverr, and bam. I have a professional video that stands out. Buyers take me more seriously, mods reviewed it, approved it, and pushed me up in results.

The whole process took 5 minutes. You still think you can't produce professional video for your gig?

And this is your idea of being helpful is it?

Fiverr has a bad reputation because no one in their right mind expects quality work done for $5. That's not even a meal for someone living in a city.

I guess unless you don't mind living off Ramen Noodles.

You simply fail to understand fiverr.

One, many sellers are living in places like India/Philippines where the standard of living is much, much lower. I used to live in a country where the minimum wage was less than $10 a day. Not an hour. Per day.

Two, there are people in the West who have figured out how to offer a fiverr gig that people like and want and spend less than 10 or even 5 minutes delivering it. For those people, I say more power to them.

Three, many are under-selling themselves on Fiverr and do offer great quality for the low price because they are desperate in this economy and trying to make a name for themselves and/or seeking to upsell on higher priced services.

I have actually found some quality work on Fiverr for simple tasks and surprisingly some more complicated tasks as well. And for stuff that would take me longer than it takes to order a low-priced gig according to what my own time is worth. It saves me money in the end.

Well, I would rather start an amazon affiliate review site than start a gig. But If you are interested, I'd say, if you own a backlinking software that gives you rights to sell backlinking services, then you can get some orders. Why? because I saw so many people buying fiverr gigs. This type of services don't consume much time and you can do it easily with a few clicks.

Also, if you have article to video creation softwares, you can sell fiverr gigs to that converts articles to video.

Just giving some ideas. Personally, I'd say, avoid huge work for $5. Think big, set big goals and hit them. Build yourself with big thoughts, actions and returns.

    Best.

Look at different listings, in categories which you could deliver good quality gigs within. Then look at how many those sellers have sold and you'll find out which ones happen to be the most popular.

You need to create a gig that can be replicated with no effort, such as backlinking, so that you don't have to create a new product for every order, like video testimonials.

That way when you get an order you just need to press a button and it's done.

There is no point in creating a gig that takes you 2 hours to complete and you get paid $4 after a fortnight's waiting.

It is not difficult to make money on Fiverr. You basically go to Fiverr and find gigs that are successful and then you see that you offer something similar.

How to make money on Fiverr (and sites like Fiverr)

    1. Go to Fiverr.com
    2. Click on a category you're most interested in or could provide a service in.
    3. Click on "Rating" at the top of the list that shows to see the most popular gigs.
    4. Look at those gigs and then literally copy what they are doing only with your own "twist".
    5. Create clones of your gigs with different titles, content etc.
    6. Create a high quality video for your gig and upload to YouTube, Metacafe etc.
    7. Write some good articles and post them to high quality, high traffic article directories, blogs and forums.
    8. Get other people to advertise your services or use Adwords etc.
    9. Find other sites like Fiverr and post your gigs there too!
Why settle for just Fiverr.com? Affordable SEO Services, Quality SEO Micro Jobs, Link Building, SMO Experts - SEOClerks is a VERY busy site (I see say 500 gig views in just 1 hour on seoclerks).

I've been very successful on Fiverr and have made alot since I started one year ago. However, it was a good start. I'm now venturing out on my own.

I think high quality, business oriented, professional gigs will sell the most. My gig attracted businesses and not individuals. My average sale was about $30 instead of the typical $5. I've had customers drop up to $200 for one video (due to it's length, next day delivery, and a boat of other "Xtras").

There are some brilliant services on Fiverr, gigs I will use over and over. Don't let nay sayers discourage you.

I like fiverr for graphics. My avatar here is a caricature made from an actual picture of myself. I use this everywhere, and it is easily worth the 2 gigs I bought to get it. I've also gotten great header graphics.

Fiverr is a great way to get your feet wet with freelancing. Get some experience there, and maybe move on to oDesk or eLance.

  • If you want to do what I did for an entire month, getting over $600 for that, sell keyword researches done with at least three different software (Google Adwords Keyword Tool, Market Samurai and one for long tail keywords) and send the files to the buyer.
They will appreciate, and with this method I got many lifetime customers out from Fiverr

I stopped because I got too many orders and I was tired to see keywords.
If you keep also away the keyword packages you send, most people will focus on the same niche without getting you to work.

Come on, let your brain develop a good idea, and sell it!

    Thanks and see you soon!

    1) Deliver FASTER than your competition

    2) Deliver HIGH-QUALITY services. This means UNDERPROMISE and OVERDELIVER.

    3) Focus on your Fiverr BRAND. When you get a client, pamper that client and remind that person of your other fiverr gigs when you deliver your client's order.

    4) Ask for feedback. Ask your clients how you can improve your product/service.

Always offer them a bonus when you are delivering your completed Gig. Offer this Bonus from a landing page where they need to opt-in to download. This way you can have a nice list of buyers. Hope all works out - keep at it, fiverr is not that difficult.

I make money on fiverr doing video testimonials, and also backlinking service, and twitter management services. You have to start off offering something awesome for $5. It won't be worth your time, but it will be in the long run (just like every IM thing anyone would ever try). Then, once you got some orders and positive feedback, you can lower what you do for $5, and offer what will do extra if they order another gig. Then, once you become a level 1 seller, you can offer gig extras up to $20. The key is to find something that you can expand on. Do the entire thing at first, and as your ratings, sales, and levels increase, break it up so you can get more money for the same thing you were doing for just $5 (really $4). Once you become a level 2 seller you can sell gig extras for up to $40. So it's actually possible to make a very good living on fiverr. My first month I made $800 on fiverr and got to level 2 (sooner than the requirements even) because I over-delivered and was always polite. And remember that if someone doesn't like what you delivered, ask them what you can do to make them happy. If they are being ridiculous tell fiverr to cancel the order and give them a refund so you don't get negative feedback. 98% rating is a must in my mind, but 100% is the best. I've gone up and down between 98-100, but I always end up resolving any negative feedback, some people even end up changing it to a positive because in the end they realize they're being ridiculous for expecting perfection for just $5 (when the seller is only getting $4 even!). And people who are willing to pay more for gig extras are almost always more realistic and are always happy with what I deliver.

Above all, make sure you are making the amount per hour that you are looking for (but also that it is okay to invest more time in the beginning to make sales and get positive feedback to up your levels so you can offer gig extras then make lots more money that way).

Start with a unique service. Personally $5 a sale isn't worth the work and effort to fulfill a gig. If you did article writing services, how many articles could you put out per day to make yourself alot of money?

I tend to disagree. A $5 sale is worth EVERYTHING! This is a stepping stone. If a gig take me 2 minutes - 1hr. I still do it.

What's important to remember too is that the more you do a job, the faster you can do it next time around and you get more and more efficient.

There are some things that took a while to process which I can now do within minutes with my eyes closed.

I've never sold anything on FIVERR, but I have noticed a relatively easy way to make pretty easy money with it. It wouldn't be great money, but I bet you could clear $15-$20/hour pretty easily. Definitely a good solution if you just needed some cash and were going to parlay that into a better opportunity.

    My advice is to:

Step away from the computer and really brainstorm (on paper) what you are best at ...then see if you can turn one of those things into something that other people will buy for 5 bucks.

Not sure if it'll sell well on fiverr? Go look at other fiverr gigs on what you brainstormed and see if those vendors are making sales.

    Hope that helps!
