Do you publish your article first before checking to copyscape?

Or do you check it first on copyscape before publishing it?

I noticed that you have to give the URL of the articles that you want to see if it has a duplicate content on the web.

But won't it be safer if you check it first on copy scape especially if you bought the article? Because if it isn't copy scaped approve then you can send it back for revision, right?

So I was just wondering.

It does cost $10 if ever I choose copyscape premium so I thought I might as well ask somethings about it here to see if it's worth it.

It is better to check first before publishing. If you are struggling to get copyscape premium, you should go for Advanced Plagiarism Checker | Free Article Checker Online

I personally use this one and have find it very useful.

  • CopyScape Premium is worth every single cent. I would advice getting it, especially when you are involved with Article Marketing niche. So far, it hasn't failed me yet, and I would go as far as saying that CopyScape is the best plagiarism/copied content checker out there.

As for your question, yes, it is strongly advised that you check the article first before publishing it in order to avoid any unwanted occurrences that may happen in the future.

Copyscape is $10 for 200 checks so that is very cheap. I am a writer and I use it for all my work. Mostly I have no problem but I don't like to rely on "mostly."

You can do a basic check even without Copyscape. Run individual sentences or phrases (in quotes) through Google and see if anything comes up.

Yes, you are right that to check it we need a URL. But I cannot find any problem that you have a website and you need to publish an article. So, what's wrong with the article to modify it later!

I use blogspot.com to publish the articles. I then check the url against copyscape. If it is ok, i publish it on my website and delete it from blogspot. if not, i return it for rewriting and also delete it from blogspot.com.This way , i save copyscape fees. The idea is to delet it before indexed, which doesn't happen fast when published on blogspot

Why are either of you worried about a five year old thread?

Been a rash of these lately. Spammer spams old thread, spam gets nuked, and well meaning people waste their time trying to help someone who is long gone, or solving a problem that's long either solved or abandoned...

it was at the top of the heap. I never look at the time stamp. It is kind of a minute detail to me. The discussion was still active when I got here. Not sure why you care if I do or not respond to a thread though

Certainly, it is a good idea to use copy scape if to rely on "writers" from FIVE errors. Five dollars is not a lot of money. Most of their workers are from over seas. Expect to see some INTERESTING grammar. That is one poor company. Hey, we get that for which we pay. Like, what else can we even say? I do rec copy scape.

I always check copyscape if someone is writing the article, it is well worth it. Otherwise if I am the writer I just post it.

You can use other plagiarism checkers like grammarly premium to be sure before publishing. After confirming that your work contains zero plagiarized content you are free to publish. Simple as that.

Like I said, there's been a rash of spammers digging up old dead threads.

    Why do I care?

Getting any sign of traction will only encourage both the spammers and the sig link droppers, as well as wasting the time of well meaning people like you.
