Anyone know of a good Lawyer or similiar service that can review a sales letter to ensure it meets FTC and other agency standards? Do you think one would really need to get that done before testing a sales letter? Or is that overkill?

    You can hire a lawyer. The going rate is something like $250 for an hour. If your sales letter is not too long he should be able to tell you within an hour or so what needs to be changed.

    There is one lawyer that is also a warrior. Kindsvater is his handle. No clue whether he practices law in your state.

    If you are needing a lawyer to review your offer then something tells me you need to be pulling back the hype. The easier thing to do is to make sure your sales copy does not make any outrageous or false claims -- if you do that you won't need lawyers to look over it.
