Any warrrior found success with Ad-swap??

Hello Warriors,

I think ad-swap do not work now a days. I mean whenever I do this. I get nothing but the unsubscription from my list. Are you facing the same thing?

Looking forward for real experiences.

Don't even understand the ad-swap thing. Why would you do that. Leave it to others and just buy solos

This is why you should only swap with people that you know and trust

Most of the time yeah ad swaps are rubbish because you have to sign up to some site which every man and his dog join just to build their list the fastest possible way

Like I said in the earlier post I am very fussy with who I swap with and I do it all manually

Even 2 -3 swaps per month will still increase your list size quite nicely

Having a good size list and doing the odd swap with another trusted marketer is leverage at it's best

I love buying solo's too and will continue to use them but the odd swap now and again works great for me

I totally agree that swapping can cost you your list if you don't choose your swap partner carefully. I built my list with Solos and PPC.

However, when you swap with the right partner you can get good results.
Do your due diligence and ask questions and check out the swipe offer. Swapping with "rubbish offers" could upset your subscribers and cause them to unsubscribe.

I would focus on giving value to my subscribers to gain their trust and loyalty before swapping with someone I am not familiar with.

I never try ad-swap (buy solo ad), but I often hear few succeed with this way. If you want to make money with this, you must do trial error until you find good sellers who sell good services that have good conversion rate (CR) for your niche.

Ad Swapping is not worth it you'll end up will a list of people who get emailed from alot of other marketers everyday. Again as said above invest in solo ads

    lol you guys are silly...

You think the people on "solo ad lists" aren't the same people that are on "ad swap lists"...

If so, you are being very naive - most solo ad vendors also do regular adswaps. And the few that don't do ad swaps are buying solo ads from guys that do...

So, essentially you are getting the same traffic when you buy a solo ad as you are when you do an ad swap...

However, when doing ad swaps you have to do it in "moderation". If you are ONLY sending ad swaps to your lists then they will become less responsive and "conditioned" to look for freebies.

So, ad swaps do work - but just like any traffic source you have to do it "the right way".

Here is a coaching replay on Ad Swaps and Solo Ads that might help...

Of course we know that, but if you have half a brain they stay on your list and you stop swapping them around. Give them a home and keep them there. Keep sending more of those silly ad-swaps at them and you are missing the point of a solo. To get leads that are sick of the ads. Get them on your list advise them to unsub from all the lists that just send them stupid offers.
Now begin building a life long customer.

I do ad swaps AND buy solo ads to get CUSTOMERS and ONLY CUSTOMERS...

People on my ad swap list are NOT customers...

So, we have the same goal... to get life long customers...

I have got many long term coaching students that joined my list from ad swaps and solo ads and giveaway events too...

Now, I definitely agree with you and if you would have read my full post you would see I said that ad swaps MUST be done in moderation AND IF people kept sending them ONLY ad swaps that they would become unresponsive.

Since you aren't on MY list and don't know what I send to MY list - it's very silly for you to make judgements and assumptions. IF you were on my list you would know that I DON'T send only ad swaps and in fact I have free weekly coaching webinars for my list...

On the flip side... I have friends that DO NOT sell solo ads and RARELY promote paid offers and are making 5 figures a month by ONLY sending ad swaps...

Just like any business model - it's all about your plans and goals. One man's garbage is another man's treasure.

So if you aren't doing ad swaps you could potentially be missing a lot of value and if you are doing too many you could be losing a lot of value. It's up to each marketer to decide how to run their own business and find the balance that is right for them and their plans and goals.

        Cheers,
        Coby

In my opinion ad swaps definitely work, but you do have be careful who you buy them from.

If you provide value to the people who click your link and join your list you can build a relation with them, and after they start to know, like and trust you they can still buy from you..

I have a rule that I would not use this. I have several members who have had bad experiences so I would steer clear

It depends who you swap with. I've had duds, and I've had huge over-night
successes that made me very happy I did the swap with that marketer.
It depends how well conditioned your adswap parter's list is, and
that marketer's will to work with you again depends on your list response.
Who built the list and how they built it matters.

    Happy New Year Everyone !

Yes. It all depends on the lists of who you do adswaps with.

    Absolutely!
So much has been written on the subject of adswapping...
Don't take on more than you can send. That way you won't stress out. Find people with a good offer, one that you would consider using. Be diligent. If you are going to adswap then be consistent and swap everyday!
A great alternative to adswapping is giveaways.

    To your listbuilding success,

Personally I have tried ad swaps using safe swaps and it was a complete nightmare which I won't even bother going into.

All I do these days is manually do ad swaps with other people that I know actually care about their list and don't just hammer them to death with garbage.

I think that ad swaps are an excellent way to build your list just as long as you do it in moderation and you are fussy who you swap with.

The thing you have to think about is we all have subscribers on our lists that just will probably never buy anything from us because they may not like the way we market or our products and that's fine, you can't appeal to everyone but those same people may like someone elses teaching, methods and products that you send them to.

The same goes for people on other peoples lists. They may not like their stuff much but love yours.

I build my list from a wide range of free traffic methods and some paid methods and ad swaps is just another traffic methods that helps me to build my list bigger.
