Affiliate Products for Personal Development

Looking for a product to build a campaign on within the Personal Development niche, I find that Clickbank doesn't offer the BEST that is out there. There are a handful that peaks my interest (in productivity mostly) but none that says "WOW, I want this now!"

Is there a place where these products/launches are gathered in one spot like there are for the MMO niche?

I know there's Gary Ryan Blair's 100 Day Challenge (The Goal Guys) which is a great product (I have used it) but it seems it is based on launches and not year round stand alone product.

I am looking for a year round product that is awesome. That will truly guide someone from where they are to where they want to be. That can change an aspect or two of their lives.

What you got?

It can be any of the sub niches within this niche but just something AWESOME.

    You might want to look at this site - they're about to launch a self help giveaway.

    I find searching for the product name I'm interested in (in quote marks) plus the word "affiliate" often brings up where the product I'm interested in is promoted to affiliates if there isn't an obvious link on the website.

    Other places to look would be Commission Junction as well as various privately run affiliate networks in the personal development arena.

    I know that clickbank does have a few products there but it seems that you don't really like them.

      Thanks for that site. I never got into giveaways but maybe this can be a start. Got to research a bit how they work.

      And good idea on the Google search for individual products. Guess there is some looking around to do.

    Roy: it's really a case of picking a product that you're interested in.

    For me, it's things like self confidence, binaural beats meditations, self hypnosis and law of attraction rather than the "get you hyped" Tony Robbins style of product.

    But most products work well.

    Ultimately, you may well want to produce your own product tailored to your subscribers needs. That's where I'm planning to go in a few markets I'm involved in during the course of 2013.

    Shareasale - do a search for self help products. Lots come up.

    Clickbank - some of the lesser gravity products can work nicely (have had some success with Revolutioniz and also with subliminal MP3s)

      Right. I am planning creating my own down the road but to get started want to build a campaign around something, easy list building and from there tailor accordingly.

    I think the gold standard in personal development products are at Nightingale Conant. They've been around for about 50 or so years. I bought a lot of products through them many years ago.

    One downside, though, unless they've changed it is they pay quarterly. I looked into their affiliate program years ago and that's what stopped me from promoting their products.

    But worth a look and maybe checking to see if their pay-out schedule is still quarterly.

      You might consider Amazon; there are literally hundreds of books to choose from within this niche. Here are a few of my favorite, most awesome classics which are still selling well and are quite suitable for building buyers' lists:

      The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen R. Covey

        Yes, Nightinggale Conant has a boatload of stuff to pick from and will be useful to promote later on. That said, I guess I am looking for a more straight up course on taking it to the next level and not a pep talk like. Yet, I bet there are some like that in there (Tony Robbins' stuff are great like that). I will look more into it.

        Thanks for sharing your favorites and this gave me an idea to go back to these authors and see if they have an program for other courses. Books itself I won't build a campaign around (too much work for such a tiny profit) but will keep books in mind when wanting to promote other things in the backend.

          After looking around the web for a bit, I've found that MindValley would be fitting for what I want to do.

          They have quite a few evergreen products like The Silva Method, The Science of Getting Rich & much more that is fitting for the personal growth world.

          They are higher priced items but that's what I am looking for as you want to be able to turn a profit right away (especially when doing PPC).

          Just waiting to get accepted as an affiliate (it is more personal) and will be rocking.

          SIDE NOTE: Always been impressed with FinerMinds, their personal development blog. Wanted to learn how they grew so big. I think I am going to guest post on that too.

    We have one coming out in just a few weeks that has been tested - involves ebook and video course and it really has changed people's lives as well as been tested for commercial viability (often you don't get products in PD that accomplish both)

    We will likely launch on Clickbank (not a given yet though) - may run a quick beta program followed by full launch. General area is associated with "Getting Unstuck -- for those people that are stuck in a rut, bored, held back by procrastination and need that extra boost to change their life.

    Putting the finishing touches on it now...quite excited to see the impact.

    I like anything by Brian Tracey, he has an affiliate program as well, and he teaches very step by step in all cases, some are motivational but they are almost all step-by-step to lead you from one place to better place. He has quite a few books, cds and dvds also on amazon.
