What's wrong now?

by zuberr 7 replies
Hi,

I'm promoting a high gravity product (water4gas!!) on EzineArticles.
So far, my stats on Clickbank says I got 500 hops to my affiliate
link but made only one sale.

All I am doing is writing articles and the resource box has a top level
domain which redirects directly to the salespage.

And in my opinion, my articles are not crappy either, so I'm a bit confused
about what's happening.

Should I continue promoting it? or try another niche?

Any help? advice?

maybe the market is becoming saturated, or maybe with so many affiliates selling it, it's all over the place.

you can check out the trends at clickbank analytics

You do nothing wrong. The niche itself losing popularity. See the google trend here.

I was converting at 7% and now only 2.5%. So obviously this is the time to move to the next niche.

When it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

When something sounds like a scam, "smells" like a scam, "feels" like a scam, it probably is.

When the so-called "honest reviews" are rehashes of PLR articles aimed at selling the ebooks and not one (that I could find) actually quotes the "author's" personal experience or even attempts to give proof, fake or otherwise.

When half the "reviews" try to convince people it is not a scam, based on the author's reading of the ebooks, rather that experience

Please, only the most gullible of people would not see it as a scam.

Dont you think if you call it a scam you should back it up with more info than just "if it smells like a scam it probably is?"

Yeah that's definitely the case, the water for gas thing has been around for quite a while now. High gravity just means a lot of people are selling it, which means a lot of competition. Try something with a lower gravity, just check out their sales pages first to make sure they're well written.
