I only have time and energy for one because both is very demanding. Someone recommanded me to forget about trading and learn about investing instead. What do you think?

Both worth while learning

Of course, both are worth learning.

    I'm a trader.
Which is the better route depends on your goals. Trading would be ideal if you want to generate profits in a short timeframe. Investing is more for the long haul. There's different types of trading as well. You can be a day trader, which is someone who monitors the market all day for trade opportunities. Or you can be a swing trader, someone who capitalizes on price moved that can last for a couple of days to a few weeks.

Again, it depends on you and your goals.

thank you so much, one thing I don't like about trading is that you could loss lots of money and I don't have much tbh. Is it possible to get good at trading through using demo accounts or I'm I being naive? what type of trading do you recommand for a newbie?

IM is certainly a safer option IMO and can be just as rewarding.

Yeah, you can practice on a paper account. That's what most people would recommend for a newbie. I wouldn't recommend trading if you don't have money to lose. Not that you're trading to lose, but its possible.
