website displaying mis-information.... want to take them down

Hey Warriors,

I have a friend who has a fairly big entertainment company. Someone wrote some false information on her and it's now posted on TMZ - celebrity news, entertainment news, celebrity gossip, Hollywood rumors, celebrity photos, celebrity video, photo galleries. She's contacted tmz multiple times to have them take down the posts, but they outright refuse. This has been really bad for her business, so she came to me looking for options...

Now, other than suing tmz, would there be any way to get them to stop displaying the content by maybe going through google or a privacy company? Basically, any way you could think of to get the contect off would be awesome!!!

Thanks for any suggestions.

Rebecca

Contact Harvey Levin who is managing editor of TMZ. He is a lawyer and a former legal analyst for cable networks before helping to found TMZ. He knows his stuff and I am pretty sure that you will see he can't be bullied. So, if your friend thinks she is right then she either try to talk to Mr. Levin or she should contact a good lawyer herself.
