Hi guys

Just doing some routine maintenance on one of my amazon sites, I was checking the links and although they had the correct html code for my id they were showing someone else's id in the amazon address bar when clicked through.

Whats happened and what can I do ?

Just discovered I hadn't put my associate id in the settings of a recently activated plugin-idiot that I am

Sound to me like the plugin creator has removed your tag and added his own instead. He's able to do this if the plugin's core is 3'rd party.

Or maybe the plugin rotate the associate tags. For example, on every tenth click, the plugin change your tag to the plugin creator's own associate tag or something?

*EDIT* I now see that you HADN'T added your own tag before you activated the plugin. The answer to this is simple - the default tag is the creator's :p Can't you just add your own tag to the settings? I'm 99% sure it will be fixed if you do.

*EDIT 2* Now I understand - you have fixed it. What a idiot I am :p

Get rid of the plugin and check your links
