Me too. Of late, I haven't even bothered with any kind of link building. I spend most of my day looking through forums in my niche, make a note of the questions that get asked over and over again and write an article.

You will be surprised how many article topics you can come up with even in the most narrow niche.

I agree with you 100%. Fiverr Rocks. I've seen countless in here complain about fiverr and I think it's either cuz they're going after the wrong gigs or they want $1000 value for $5.

I too have saved tons of cash and saved myself from lots of work by hiring many in the last couple of yrs through Fiverr.

I have used Fiverr for full T.v advert.

voice over gig plus visual effects intro plus live action. spent about 20 box and the best part is that i did it for a company for $1500.

They thanked me for a fantastic job.

Did you buy all from the same seller or did you piece gigs together?

It's awesome when you can find one gig that's worth a packet but then you can combine it with another to treble it's worth.

I do admit that there's some rubbish to be had on Fiverr but I've been seriously overlwhelmed with some jobs and I've felt guilty on many occassions even after throwing some considerable bonuses their way.

I use Fiverr for tons of stuff. They used to be fantastic for things like quickly getting that initial 1k followers for Facebook pages, that sort of thing, until sadly Facebook began cracking down on those sorts of things, but basically fiverr is the first place I go whenever I need any sort of outsourcing done.

You gave me some new gigs to find. I also wanted to add that I've had both smashwords formatting and kindle formatting done by people on fiverr with great results (and also covers for kindle).

  Being a fiverr buyer and seller myself, it's true that you can find some great gigs for very little money. But there are also a lot of scams on fiverr so you really have to make sure you do your research first and see what feedback other people leave on each gig. Even then you can't be 100% certain cause a lot of buyers aren't really aware they're being scammed.. So yeah be extra careful and you'll certainly find some great gigs.

There is a gig for press release distribution. Turns out that it is too good to be true. A guy tries selling Prweb distribution for 5 bucks (regular price for that is $159).

I contacted my Prweb rep and got this:

"What this person is doing appears to be illegal and against our contract. "

So, yes a gig on Fiverr can be excellent but make sure that you do not buy illegal stuff as this could get you in hot water too.

  With regards to content, I have very specific goals in terms of how the article should be written, how it should be formatted, the length of the article (I almost always prefer articles of 1000 words) etc. Again it is just me and the gigs I mentioned are those that work for ME. I bought fiverr gigs like.. wordpress fixing issue, basic programming and voice-over.

In my opinion voice-over is the best gig in fiverr. It's affordable and it's top notch. Couldn't ask for more

I use Fiverr often for jobs like video reviews / testimonials, speed drawing / white screen animations, buying cheap tier 2/3 link packages, social media fans and followers, youtube likes and comments. I've had a few problems over the years but nothing major.

Glad to see all of these on your list - these types of services are horrible.

Fiverr is great as long as you get the right gig, I have had some 1st class work done, and always go back for more, the only thing I no longer use it for is traffic generation, fb likes twitter followers etc. if you get a dud gig, which you can, keep it in perspective, its $5

There are actually various fiverr gigs still available which is of good quality as long as you have tested the right gig. Before, ordering any gig, just ask for a sample and discuss your requirements with you seller before hand. If they agree only then place the order.

I've gotten good results from gigs I bought. I used one fiverr person for some techie help; he was super-helpful, and I ended up paying him a number of times for additional help.

Now it looks like we are going to partner up on an offline marketing project together, and I'm really excited about it. We bring complementary skills and personalities to the table, so I have high hopes we will succeed.

I'm particularly excited that tech problems which stump me are like child's play for him to solve. Not only will it be valuable having him solve problems, but I'll learn to do more for myself as we go along too.

you always have a problem with anything popular...it's upto you that how you can use those situations according to you...I know frauds are there but true marketers and promoters are also there..see their ratings,their time on fiverr,their reviews and then order...

While it is true that Fiverr has its fair share of scammers (who doesn't these days?) it is also true that you can get some excellent and often very fast results far cheaper than you will find anywhere else. Why pay $37 or $67 for an ebook or Kindle cover through a website link when you can get it done for just $5 on Fiverr - and don't kid yourself because the result will be just as good, if not better!

I have spent good amount of $$$
on solo ads from fiverr.

Imagine buying a solo ad service on fiverr
for just $5 and getting 15 to 25 new subscribers
down to my list.

The last i did, i got 16 subs and i eventually made
a sale with a net profit of $32 and one more sale
came some days after.

I agree; one of my positive experiences there was a Kindle book cover which I am very happy with. I imagine someone less frugal that me would have been happy to spend upwards of $100 for it.

Fiverr ROCKS! There is magic in $5 and great service…especially when you can avoid the frustration of doing it yourself. $5 may not seem like a lot but when it takes you 2-3mins to do something, the multiplication of $5 is the sweet spot.

I think Fiverr is great for SEO as well as I have used some SEO services in it which happen to be very effective in terms of rankings. The services had to do with SENuke and social bookmaking.

One of the best things about Fiverr is that they will not rrleased the money if you are not completely satisfied.

Video creation is the one that works and help me a lot so far.

  The best gig I've bought over the last six months was to have my logo redone as a vector sketch, which means it can be any size without losing resolution (great for printing). The deliverable was in a variety of different file types. Well worth the $20.
  
  The seller (pensketch) has suspended the gig for now, but you could contact him if you need this kind of work done.

I think there is a site fourer. Yea I think it's real. but about these types if websites. They are good for small projects because you will save but sometimes the quality will lag a little but what do you expect for 5 bucks..and they are really only getting about 4 so it's something they can do quick without much thought.. It would have to be since they would be making less then a burger flipper, but I doubt too many are making a living on fiverr
