The BEST coach on warriorforums!

Hi there I'm new here and I really feel lost and have no clue what to do. I know for a FACT that I need mentoring. It would cost me less because less mistakes ect. Anyways can anyone suggest the best coach on warriorforums? Someone who is reputation is high or is known? Something that works because I don't want to waste my money on someone who is in it for the money and disappears or make me go negitive in money. I know for a fact I don't want offline marketing. No comfortable.

    Rumor is, you are.

Your post has so much bait in it. I would avoid answering any of your PM's for a while, and delete this thread

Don't look for a "coach" until you know what you are doing already, and just need one to help with implementing a plan of action.

EDIT: IM VERY SORRY I MISREAD YOUR REPLY FPR SOMETHING ELSE. It's very helpful thanks

The best advice was given on the first response to your thread OP.

You have to understand that there are more than likely thousands of people on this forum just waiting to lure you into their "MAKING TONS OF MONEY" advice product.

The Warrior above was simply trying to help you as you may or may not have seen how all it takes is for you to say HELP ME and people will be lining up to sell you on that dream.

They know you are thirsty and want a drink. Well here's your drink buddy! it'll cost you! BUT HOLD ON if you buy my drink now, thirsty man, I'll give you another FREE! Just pay me now.

You see how that works? You have to have your own plan. The best guru in the world isn't going to make any money for you. All they can really do is try to motivate you and offer advice and tips. All of which you can easily learn on your own in no time flat.

I don't think it was meant to be mean, rather that you could potentially have loads of people sending you messages making you offers of their own coaching.

I would highly recommend that you research these guys: Alex Jeffreys, Dean Holland and Lee McIntyre. There are lots of good coaches and mentors around but these are three of the best in my opinion. Do a search for these names here on the forum and in Google and you'll soon see that their reputations precede them. Also, you can see what products and services they have to offer, get an idea of their coaching styles and then decide if any of them can help you. I hope that helps a little

He is saying you have just opened yourself up for a pile of "coaching" offers in your PM inbox... he suggests you treat them like unsolicited sales phone calls and don't answer them.

Then, once you have a better idea of what you want to do and what kind of coach you want, you will have a better chance of finding someone who fits your needs.

He wasn't saying it to be mean.

He was saying it because when you show up in Times Square and shout "I have $1,000 in my pocket for anyone willing to show me around New York", you will see neither New York nor your $1,000 any time soon.

The problem is no coach can guarantee you the results they are getting.
Assuming they are getting any results at all.
Chances are most of their online income comes from coaching.

What are you looking to be coached in?

IM is a very large umbrella.

I suggest you "pick a business model" first...

For example, I'm a list builder - but know very little about things like Pinterest or eBay...

Decide on "what" you want to do in IM then find out who the "authority figures" are in that field then approach them for coaching...

If you just put out a blanket statement of "I need an internet marketing coach" then you will get pulled in many directions. Many have stated this already but I think it deserves emphasis.

So, your first step is to decide on a field, then decide on a coach

    Good luck!

    Cheers,
    Coby

What Coby and a few others say is good advice. Try and focus first on what part of internet marketing you would like to pursue .

Understand too that a coach is not going to make you money . You are going to have to do it . The coach just helps focus and motivates you . Some will advise on niches to get into and how to go about getting traffic but you will need to do the actual work and its not just a matter of press this button , than press that button .

Also you say you are looking for someone who is not in it for the money . Those people are almost non existent . Many might say they not in it for the money but you have to take that with a pinch of salt. Its their time .

Take a look at yourself , you are looking at ways to make money . You want to make money , but you seem to expect the next person to do it for the love of of it and not make money. Good coaches are expensive , so be prepared to pay but even more importantly be very wary of who you hire . You could end up losing your shirt as there are many out there that will promise you millions right up until they have your money.

From your post, it seems to me that you are about to get bombarded with personal warrior forum messages of people who will want to "coach" you but have no clue what so ever on how to make money online themselves. They just want to throw a product on you so that they can make a quick commission.

    ROFL!

You want "The BEST coach on the warriorforums" who is not in it for the money?

    Bwahahahhahahahahahahahah!

Sorry if it was not meant to be funny... but it was. You don't need a coach yet. You are not ready. You do not yet have the right mindset. The good news is I am going to give you some resources that will help YOU prepare your self...

The best coaches need to know you are serious and value their time.

If you want the "best" you are going to shell out some serious dough.

Let me "coach" you a little...

Study, prepare, figure out what you want to be when you grow up...

Follow some of the "best" coaches like James Schramko:

    SuperFastBusiness with James Schramko

Watch his free videos... some of the best "coaching" you will get.

    Study these threads:

allinone - WarriorForum - Internet Marketing Forums - Threads Tagged with allinone

    http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...desperate.html

    http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...2-24-11-a.html

Then once you can see a bit clearer and know by watching them who the best coach is... hire your coach. Pay them well. And expect that only YOU will produce results and that only comes by doing the actions and putting the systems in place that yield results.

LOL, I know what you are saying - but this part of the sentence is kinda funny.

OP doesn't know what they are doing - that's why they are looking for a coach. :p

    DataBaseError,

You've been given some excellent advice (and links to go read) already on this very thread and it hasn't cost you a dime.

And honestly, you are not ready for and don't need a mentor just yet - although you can consider what you find within the forum itself to be your mentor.

Take some time, sit with a pen and paper, and write out some goals.

Here are some questions for you to answer for yourself:

    1. What are your interests? (this can be online/offline - what ever).

    2. Can these interests be monetized? (is anyone spending money on these things and on what?)

If yes - you might have some ground to consider starting on.

    If no:

    3. What are you good at? What is something you are not good at but would like to spend more time learning to do? Could this be a potential market?

Now, if there is nothing you are interested in now, and nothing you really want to have an interest in, then you will need to go a whole other direction.

Having a niche first is an easier route (imo) than finding a system and then trying to apply a niche into it.

There are only 3 ways to make money online.

    1. Sell your own products
    2. Sell other peoples products
    3. Sell a service you provide

    That's it really.

Take any niche and you will find you can create a product, find other products being offered that you can promote, or a lot of times you can find a service to provide within those niches. And if you don't find other products being offered then it likely is not a niche that will make you money.

Use the search feature in the WSO section and look for coaching offers. In the threads you will find feedback of those who have been coached. You can also check with them through a PM.

One possibility would be to just buy a basic internet marketing course* and start learning and implementing from that.

*Rosalind Gardner's Super Affiliate Handbook is a good place to start.

After you've actually done something (gotten a website up, created some content etc, gotten traffic to your site and maybe made some sales), you're in a much better place if you still want a mentor.

And I don't think it's possible to entirely avoid wasting time and money when you learn the ropes. :-)

I first started by trying to build sites for AdSense, but that never got me anywhere and I hated the spammy stuff I was advised to do. I made my first money from building a few Squidoo lenses and making a couple of affiliate sales.
