        A quick post to bump this thread back to the top.
        A few days ago, several people were looking for
        article directories that pay. The only one I've
        used and was paid from was Associated Content,
        which I think was bought out by Yahoo.

          I've always viewed writing as a fail safe for me. The week I discovered that I could technically make out a living (not living like a king, but better than McDonalds) writing content, was when I hit what I consider to be phase 1 in IM -- being able to live off of the internet if your life depended on it.

          Now I'm just working to get to the point where I can live off of past work.
