Any recommendations for a tell a friend inviter?

I did a search for an address book/tell a friend script and could only dig one up here. It is 3 years old. http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...pt-market.html

I'm asking in a new thread because I don't want to bump an old thread. Anyone try the products listed there? Are there any better recent scripts I should look at? I need something that will allow happy users or list members of mine to refer their friends.

Thanks in advance, guys

I really didn't think people used these scripts anymore. I was never a fan of the tell-a-friend email scripts because majority of the times you have people just entering junk email addresses which don't do very well for your reputation with email services... also your link being sent in all those emails isn't a great idea and can easily get your link flagged.

This day and age I would be recommending you instead use a Facebook Like button or share button or encourage people to leave a Facebook comment on your page which then gets posted to your wall.

For what it's worth, the last Tell-a Friend script I remember was years ago by Mike Filsaime:

Same here. I think the vulnerability issue you have here, especially when visitors come through your site organically, is that they have so many resources in front of them, say for example you are ranking number 1 for a particular keyword, you could have amazing content but this can always draw traffic away and they will skip straight onto the next site that doesn't require action.

I think it was powerful back in the day, but these times people rarely take any action for reading content.

I have the vulnerability part covered. I just need a good recommendation script.

Hi - I've been searching around for info on products similar to Mike F's Viral Friend Generator. In particular, his website mentions an option "...to reward only those senders who get their friends to subscribe to your list..." which sounds pretty good. Also, it seems to be able to cope with junk email addresses. I've seen it listed for $57, and was wondering if there is anything else which has similar functions,

    best wishes,

    Jon.
