ah yeah the if you buy a non domain product you can get bulk domains for cheap. they have it for $3.99 - didn't godaddy have this deal for $1.99. any other deals you all know of? just a few bucks difference is going to save me a few hundred dollars so any help would be appreciated.

The problem is, there is VERY little profit margin. It costs the registrars close to $7 and they sell it to you for just a tad over that. The low prices you see like $3.99 are just loss leaders. They get you in the door at a loss as they know many will stay and renew next year at full price. If you have at least 50 QUALITY domains, you may want to try Fabulous.com. Currently $7.30.

$7 - $8 is the cost for us to register a domain name (a dot com), the standard would be $8 and above. Maybe big companies are able to give you cheaper price as they can earn back their losses from other customers who are not using coupon code, etc.
