WSOs/Products on making money in the adult niche...

I was wondering why you don't see many WSOs on making money in the adult niche?

Is this because it is against the rules or just because sellers are worried that venturing into this niche could harm their reputation?

I didn't notice anything in the rules against it but maybe I missed something...

The niche can be pretty profitable for obvious reasons but I understand completely why people would avoid it here because it isn't very politically correct.

How would you feel about someone who did bring out a product about making money online in this niche? Would it put you off buying other products from them or would this type of product be attractive to you?

Thoughts?

seen a WSO, lately relating to the adult industry, can't find it at moment...obviously it's a lucrative, captive audience for the right offer.

Does it differ in concept from any other niche? Not sure it's that different really. You just find you angle, as in any market, research and go.

Thanks for the responses guys. It seems nobody so far would be offended.

I'm not personally looking to learn anything about this niche as it's one of the niches I'm already involved in. Was just wondering if selling products of this nature was prohibited or just rare on here.

        Food for thought really.

Would anyone else have an opinion on Internet Marketers who put this type of product out? Would it put you off buying mainstream products from them too?

I'm sure one or two would be offended, but you can't prevent that, whatever you do, say or write about.

I like Brad Gosse anyway, whatever anyone else says about him, and I certainly wouldn't hesitate to buy some other product from him just because he also has involvement in "adult niches".

I'm offended by income claims, myself (and so are many others here), but that doesn't stop hundreds of people using them to promote WSO's. It just means they'll have to tolerate people like me urging others not to buy them.

The internet porn industry is one of the most brutal you'll find actually. The guys leading the race in that niche are more keen on marketing than anywhere else I've seen. They have to be to keep up and bypass the restrictions our more uptight individuals have put in place.

You should look up Brad Gosse if you want to learn how to kill it in the adult industry. He launches WSOs often and is king of porn IM :-) He literally was ranked #1 for the word porn at one time.

There's a well known warrior here that sells very risque PLR. No one that I know of is offended. I'm sure there's some around that might be, but generally, I haven't seen anything negative posted about those who want to go into adult topics, and it's not against the rules unless it's illegal content.

I can only guess, but the right adult WSO would probably have some takers.

Ouch, I'll tackle trying to rank for the keyword "Money" before I ever step foot into the adult niche again.

As an above poster said, that niche is absolutely brutal if you're trying to rank highly for a particular keyword or just trying to compete at all.

Direct and indirect sex to this day is one of the best sellers known to man. I don't believe I see that changing anytime soon.

As far as WSOs go on the adult niche, I'm sure a lot of people would be offended and come in there to voice their opinion on how 'wrong' or 'immoral' it is. Plus some people get kind of skeptical with making moeny via the adult niche because they don't want to tell anyone they're exploiting sex to make money. Personally, i don't have a problem with it but to each their own.

Back in 2006, one of the most popular and easiest ways to make money was torrenting and affiliate offers with adult related affiliate websites. It was huge and made a killing until the torrent networks started shutting down and they basically said "oh so that's what they're doing? Yeah, cut that out."

Plus, the most popular and most in-demand WSOs seem to be "HERE'S HOW YOU MAKE A BAZILLION PENNIES IN THE NEXT 24 HOURS... For $7 ONLY!" I don't see that changing anytime soon either.

Actually, a simple "hit the report button" would take care of that. They aren't allowed to comment on a WSO that they have not purchased in that way. They can't trash a sales thread with their moral opinions.

I agree that it is highly competitive and I wouldn't want anything to do with it, but others may.

I haven't seen any WSO in the adult niche. Maybe I missed it. Plus, I read the forum rules here and I don't see any rule that says that you can not post a WSO for this niche.

To be honest, I think some people would look at someone totally different because they are in the adult niche. They may even be offended.
