Best login system/members area

Hey everyone,

I've been looking for an effective login system for quite some time now, particularly one that is compatible with wordpress. I'd like quite a stylish login page which allows users to have their own account on my site and one where I can customise the fields/have it send the standard verification emails.

More particularly that I haven't been able to find, is one which allows for a members area, where each user can have their own account page which I can customise for them (this would be to track their sales for the function of my site).

If you have any recommendations I'd really appreciate it, I have a very limited knowledge of coding. Thanks!

Edit: I've just had a look at Aweber, does this have the functions I'm looking for?

  • There are some free wordpress plugins that can do this for you, however, if you want to go for something paid, I'd recommend WP Wishlist.

It's a fantastic product and though it won't allow your customers to track your people, it will definitely help you with the rest. :-)

    • Thanks I'll check out Wishlist now
  • Jsutton,

You could try WP Members. Not sure if you can make specific “areas” for members but it allows you to restrict certain content as well as the site as a whole.

This one is also worth checking out,

    Hope those help,

    • I'll check this out, thanks!
  • Digital Access Pass.
  • I would recommend WP Whishlist Wordpress Plugin... Its a paid membership Plugin but works awesome... Highly recommended
  • Thanks Shawn for those two! I need a quick fix this weekend when two sites crashed and burned inside Amember. With the holidays it'll be a couple of days before I get an answer I believe.

I have always loved Amember for html sites and was told that it would work the same for a Wordpress site - maybe I did something wrong (cause I'm not the brightest code person on the planet!). If it isn't going to work I'll look at Wishlist.

And here, I thought all of this was already completed. I love it when a plan comes together - NOT!
