Not sure if this'll make me popular but before you buy that ebook ask yourself...

Are you buying it because of any of the bonus material??

If you are - stop - do a quick Google search and you may find that it's readily available free.

I'll give you an example... CPA explosion is part of the Affiliate Payload package but can be download (with MRR) for nothing totally free & totally legitimately.

Stop procrastinating, stop reading & get back to work : )

Haha thanks Alan for the info I just gave you a "THANKS" No, but seriously I agree as many people just buy e-books as there is a free $20 Adwords or something like that but they are then paying $30 for a worthless book...

One other tip is I keep a list of all my Ebooks catalogued in an Excel Spreadsheet indicating Title, Author, Niche plus price (if I purchased it). I get so many offers it's hard to keep track of which ebooks I have

Something else that builds upon what you say...

Consuming information is less important than producing information.

You don't make money directly by consuming information and you'll burn out w/o getting anything for it.

If you produce too much information, the quality goes down and you burn out.

Find a balance point. I'd say for newbies 60% producing, 40% consuming is a good time usage schedule. Get producing more as you learn more...there really isn't a lot to learn that actually TAKING ACTION won't teach you more effectively.

To your original post, good pointing that out...most of the same "ebooks and bonuses" are just ripped off the net to make things look better. I am SUPER sketched out by "resale rights" b/c logically (at least to me) if lots of people are selling it, then the value goes down.

Just my opinion though

Good points mate... my old boss used to classify work as either progressive or maintenance. So when you're working you need to focus on the progressive side.

Reading ebooks kinda fits into both - depending on what you're reading of course.
