How to word adswap emails to avoid spam folder when offering free products?

Hi I'm just getting into email marketing, so I thought I'd get some advice from people who are veterans at doing it.

I am planning to buy a solo ad to promote my beauty offer via giving away a free eBook (In the beauty niche).

I am planning to use safe-swaps.com.

The only thing I am worried about is how I word the email I am going to ask my partner to send out being caught by the spam folder because of the word 'free'. But how can I word the email without using word free? ('At not cost to you' sounds really long-winded and unprofessional.)

Do you think I would avoid the spam folder if I only use the word 'free' once in the body of the email but NOT using it in the title? I know

Or do I not have to worry about this because the user is already subscribed to their email list so their email provider will already trust the email address it is coming from. - even if I use 'free' in both the title and the body of the email.

How about you? When you are writing an email for your partner to send out giving away a free product have you ever had problems with it being flagged as spam because of your wording?

Thanks - any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I've seen it written out, f-r-e-e. I thought that looked a little spammy, but I've seen some big names doing it that way.

So have I, but I've also been told by staff of at least two autoresponder companies that that's even more likely to trigger a spam-trap than not hyphenating it, Jeremy.

(I wouldn't do it anyway, even if it were the other way round, because I think it looks dreadful, too).

I'm not into ad swapping or sending out offers in general, but why does the "At no cost to you" phrase sound unprofessional? Quite on the contrary, I think "f-r-e-e" sounds more unprofessional, even if it gets you past the spam filters (but it seems it doesn't, after all).

I would even make a joke on the side of it, saying something like "I would have used the F word, you know, but these damn robots keep eating every email that contains it - I wonder how <insert your favorite political leader who has fought for freedom here> would have coped with them". Of course, it depends on your demographics (to use the joke, I mean), but you get the idea.

Personally, I wouldn't mind receiving an email promising me "a PDF on the subject, at no cost".
